If I was buzzing with that new pb pike at 14.04lb yesterday evening, this one last night at 2am was the 🍒 of the weekend, and new pb at 18.02lb caught on whole mackerel, thanks my mate Tino to get the mix bag of dead baits, right on time! 👌🤟😎
Thanks @tinoermida to help land this beauty and long pike.. after few minutes of intense fight and walking up in surface, she was safely in my net 👌🐊🎣💣

The mitten crabs on Thames yesterday evening were pain in ass. 🤣🤣😬🦀🦀
Saturday evening swapped barbel rig for wire trace rig loaded with whole sardine, was the key for good bite, 1 tonner and proper fight to, scales read 14.04lb and new Pike pb, special getting her from Thames 👌🎣🐊

This was a fun weekend on bank with @tinoermida and @jorgericardo_07 this carp was like 50/50 Ermida, team work 💯💪💪🙌🎣😂
Forgotten weight but the biggest ghost carp I've seen, back than was the record of that lake, caught on @a2baitsofficial mums special pop-up boilie with some scattered Cream toffee boilies as freebies.

Many years ago, my good friends @christophepelhate & @davechambers told me about this pristine & hard stretch. The time I've put in was maybe mad, but come amazing at end. For sure, you both were giggle and chering up in the sky, same as my Dad & Dad & Law 🕊🥰🎣🎣🙏
The 2th barbel on Colne was cracker & clonker of Barbel, new Colne pb at 16.01lb my second biggest barbel landed in uk rivers. This out the Colne, for me personally, is a proper & special one, stunning specimen.. worth 20 doubles out trent 🤣🫣
After landing that 13lb on Saturday afternoon in daylight.. I've stayed in the same swim, another 5h+ with few cast between, but nothing happened. I've moved to my base camp swim, were i insist for another night... patient was the key.. around 20pm, after dinner ive had my 1st cast into the swim, downstream rod on cage feeder with some magic mix snd carry on 2 x 8mm pellets snd size 12hook..
Rod upstream river on lead and double 18mm boilie on.
After 1.20h without any signs of life the downstream rod come to life with another bream, smaller one than previous night at 8.15lb.. it was quick release without weight it.. new charge on feeder and new 2 x 8mm on.. another 2.30h passed by without any action.. decided to bring both rod in to check bait and refresh if needed!
Another charge feeder, this time swapped into 14mm pellet, so could last longer in, rod upstream was left with same bait and attached pva of freebies.. as it went chilled I tucked on my sleep bag and fall asleep, when at around half midnight the downstream rod come into life with 1 tonner bite, proper screaming reel.
She's was power downstream river into some snags, but on first attempt managed to turn her around and she come slowly and at passed in deep chanel, soon passed me, went ballistic upstream, managed to controll & 1st attemp this 💎 of Colne Valley was in the net...insane bite and amazing fight.
Hope to catch you again in end season, when full belly 🫣🤣🎣
Maybe now needed another 670h blank till next barbel bite, but who cares; when creatures like this apear from the deep water..All blanks were forgotten! 😛🤫🎣🎣🎣👌

Finally, and at last, after 670h of blank the magic happened.. River Colne is ✅️ with Double figure Barbel, stunning and pristine fish at 13lb
Falling in 2x8mm pellets and size 12 hook, it went like bullet, amazing bite and fight and daylight 👌 😀
This making now 16th river across uk with double digits barbel under my belt.. cracking weekend 👌
Thanks the bloke who was fishing on carp lake to come help @nath_.cv 📸 🎣🎣🔥💪

Record, catch, and release is the away forwards to have old big fish around.. Portugal 🇵🇹 could have big bass all over the country, including having back some double digits. The problem still is more people killing than release and controlled stock populations!
The wells Cat Fish of 2 legs is a big predator across the country... here my 2 biggest bass landed this past summer at 2.2620kg, and inclusive the biggest of that session.. day where I was lucky to catch few on #raidjapan #zionworkslab

The 3rd largest largemouth Bass landed this past summer holiday at 2.510kg ... Catch,recorded&release!
It was missing half the padel tail, but it give good bite and put some good fight in... thanks to my mate @fabiojalbuquerque for the video, pictures and company on this adventure. 🤘🎣🍺😎🏴‍☠️

First visit on new dam near home, after missing one bite was well happy on the next 2 bites I managed to land, both at same weight.. 2kg+ 🎣🤘
