My good friend Wesley Bennett music. We say goodbye for a while. i will miss your presence, your talent. I posted this as my good friend goes away to Auz for about a year. We have been performing for about the same amount of time and I think we met, at a gig about 12 years ago. We have performed on the same lineup many times. I love Wesley’s music. Most of the music I’ve written, is about escaping, travel, conversations, environment, family , friends, the ocean, connection to the universe. But, you wouldn’t know it . Some people can’t even understand the lyrics , they just like the melody, and that’s ok. That’s what music is about, to get lost in the moment. I mean, I can’t even recall half the lyrics of my very favourite artists, but i still listen and love the Melodie’s. So, I want to get in the studio and complete my next compilation of works. Skating the local bowl last week. As I cannot get to surf much anymore, skating and windsurfing fulfill me. Local skatepark builders ,,far and wide! Please put a 2-3ft mini ramp to the side of all your parks for beginners to learn and for pro’s to warm up. Very very grateful non the less to have amazing local parks like this. A while back now. When I was promoting some new music and festivals around 2018, Cornwall on St Austell Radio and with DJ Sheila Vanloo. She was a real sweetheart and a massive fan of original music. Very supportive to new artists.

I just wanna give a massive shout to all the friends and Family of Stevie (Bongo) Parsons. Steve passed on from this world recently but his memory is not forgotten. I knew Steve as a surfer first, he always charged on his bodyboard on the Southcoast. He was a gentleman, and much loved percussion player in his beloved reggae Band DUBHEART. I got to see him perform many times with his band and, he was always so present in his performance. When I would see Steve on the cliff top in Southbourne on one of our many regular passings (most of the time he was on his bike ),, he would always give you a blessing and wish you ONE LOVE. You were a true gentleman Steve. You will be missed by many, may you shred waves in peace. Rj. by @rujiero

My tune Country Mile. Acoustic version, stripped down bare. No mics, no metronome, early morning chorus acompany. As I prepare to step into my pace to perform new music soon, as we have gigs comming up I thought I would share this song I wrote so long ago. I never perform it live , however going forward, I will. This song is about family , country walks, the passing of time , the passing and memory of loved ones, and , what we need right now , is , the memory of all the hero’s who put their life and their courage on the line so we , can walk , in safety and freedom. Ultimately , it’s also about love for life, and letting go of the things that hold us back. For that’s what it means to be, truly human. Have a peaceful day where ever you are in the world. I’ve not edited this video at all, as, perhaps we need a movement to help persons restore their ability to concentrate and just be in the present , mistakes and all. Blessed vibes.
