A Gesha from Peñas Blancas in Acevedo, Huila, Colombia. This little gem brings the elegance of Gesha with a twist, making it a perfect fit for our Kaleidoscope Series. Think floral finesse meets a little flavour adventure.

It all starts with hand-picked cherries, selected for their high sugar content of 22–26° Brix. That’s a measure of sugar in the fruit, in other words, these cherries are seriously sweet.

Next comes 96 hours of fermentation, followed by Thermal Shock and Quenching. (Thermal Shock uses a sudden temperature change during processing, while Quenching involves rapid cooling. These techniques help guide how the coffee develops.) A little science behind the scenes, a lot of character in the cup. by @rumbaba33

We’re starting again with open cuppings.

The next cupping will be 18/11

🏡 Ever heard of a Home Cafe? It’s all about opening your home to share good coffee, tasty treats, and gezelligheid. For family and friends, or even curious strangers.

On November 22, we’re bringing the concept to life with our very own Home Cafe Day!

We’re looking for 25 homes across the Netherlands to host their own little coffee gathering.

We roast, you host.

For the explorers among us, our Bundles are a fun way to dive deeper into coffee.
The idea is simple: two coffees from the same origin. Sometimes even with the same processing method but always offering a different experience.
It’s a great way to discover what an origin has to offer, explore its characteristics, and get to know your own preferences along the way.
And a nice little bonus: Bundles come with a discount. We have four bundles at the moment.

Rum Baba x Louf combo deal. One of our favorite filter coffees combined with a yummy seasonal filled viennoisserie package. Available zo lang de voorraad stretched. 💥 by @rumbaba33

It was the perfect autumn day, just as we imagined when we first started talking about this Louf collab. A buzzing city, stormy weather, and all the autumn flavours. 🍂☕️🍎

Excited to present two new Kenyan coffees in one drop.

Ndunduri
Sourced from the historic Ndunduri wet mill in Embu County, this exceptional AB lot delivers a rich, jammy harvest of blackcurrant and blueberry notes balanced by a lively acidity. Crafted by a dedicated community of 1,400 smallholder farmers, it is the perfect, vibrant companion for chilly autumn days.

Established in the 1970s, Ndunduri is a wet mill in Manyatta, Embu County, on the slopes of Mt. Kenya. The surrounding area is densely populated, with farmers typically tending between 100 and 1,000 coffee trees on small plots.

Most grow SL28, SL34, Ruiru 11 and Batian, varieties that thrive in the highland conditions and help give this coffee its bright, expressive character.

Kirinyaga
A vibrant and expressive Kenyan coffee from the slopes of Mount Kenya. In the cup, it shows the classic character we love from Kenya: bright acidity, juicy red-like fruit and a clean, structured finish. The AA grade refers to the large bean size, while the character of the cup comes from the high-elevation growing conditions, varieties and careful processing.

Kenya lovers beware! These coffees are also available in a bundle ✌🏼 by @rumbaba33

Yesterday was our last roasting day at our current location. We’re wrapping up our roaster and getting ready (are we, though? 😬) to move it to our new location in Haarlem.

Quite the operation, but we’re excited about this new step and the next chapter that reflects our growth. Thanks to all you nice people ordering our coffee. by @rumbaba33
