Going off trails looking for trails I see on the maps looks like no one has been here for while. Not even the wild goats but the views are incredible.

It’s tough coming back in the heat after 2 weeks away in more normal temperatures. 8km feels like 20 and 200 elevation feels like 600. Heavy footing, heavy breathing, and a snapped pole before the first climb of the day. This is what makes you feel alive though. Grateful to be back in the hills in my backyard.

Unboxed issue No. 1 of @grandtrail.fr. Co-created by @alexis_berg, the imagery and overall production quality are second to none. A brilliant publication offering real depth and perspective on the world of trail running.

Running is running — until you’re somewhere new. Even on short distances, moving through unfamiliar territory gives you a real feel for a place. You start to wonder about the daily rhythm of the people who live there and how they’ve shaped the landscapes you’re running across.
Running is so much more than running though. This brief loop was exactly that: a small window to see, feel, and absorb something different.

One of my favorite ways to discover a city is simply to get a feel for it on foot. Running through Vienna’s neighborhoods while people go about their daily routines gives me a real glimpse into the pulse of the place.
Took the opportunity to scope out a few local spots along the way—starting with a post-run brew at @le.cafe.fokus, then dropping by @supplies___supplies. Such a well-curated space with an incredible selection of brands and an effortless, easygoing feel.
Picked up some good print for the road: @athletamagazine & @amateursmagazine

Evening run at the salt lake to lock in some flat kilometers and break in the @nordarun 001A – Fireclay from @mercidistillery. The @kneesupspace super light cap is an absolute necessity choice for this August heat.

Session 11 /// Solid Sunday morning spent with great company, climbing the limestone trails and hills to catch the views before the heat kicked in.
The post-run ritual is as sacred as the run itself: connecting over specialty coffee from @wagmi_cy, Georgian Churchkhela from @lemeshkomikhail, walnut roll from our friend @zacharias.patissier and Syrian sweets.

The heat got the better of me this week - definitely ignored basic knowledge! Nothing like an evening sunset run by the coast to make things right. These views never get old.
