.18 — The Culture Session
A session where culture meets the trails. Great route today led and prepared by Tuomas, weaving through windy uphill trails in the Foini forests high above the Trooditissa river.
A special experience all around—on the trails, at the village kafenio, and in the studio where everyone had the opportunity to try lino engraving and printmaking. Always a pleasure to connect with @troodosartclub at @diodiohandmade in Foini.

Thanks for making it a memorable one.

.17 / Weather Call

Cancelled early on account of unpredictable conditions. Went to the trailhead for a solo training loop regardless—@Mikhailemshko met me there as he lives down the road and we ran it anyway. He did a solid 19km run from home to the trail head and back.

Still adjusting the weather protocol. Going forward: meet at the start, assess the conditions in real time, and leave the final call to individual discretion.

.18 — Foini / This Sunday.

Session 15 /// 12 km and +493m for today’s morning run! A nice single track—a little technical at times—but it made the climb worth every step. Just the two of us hitting the trails today, but still great fun.
@lemeshkomikhail brought over some amazing mooncakes straight from China to make the post-run coffee break extra special!

A nice final run in Apsiou for the next while, as our upcoming sessions spread to new grounds. Stay tuned for where we’re heading next week!

Session 14 was a small committee. A pleasure to run these single track trails with @at_sab95 up to Kakomalis ridge just under the fire look out. The September weather is a blessing and so great to be able to do these Sunday morning runs. The post run coffee as always probably the best part of the session. Beans from @amberandjoecoffee straight from @flat_number_nine.
