Sometimes you come across a designer who you had no idea about, and blows you away. Huge surprise at the small but concise Alaska State Library, Archives and Museum in Juneau—a show of Dorothy Grant’s amazing fashion. She is an indigenous Haida artist and bridges the work of Haida art & regalia, western fashion & haute couture. taken in Alaska State Museum by @runitbytom

I’m a words guy, having taught typography for over 20 years. Plus I like cars, so it all comes together in the over-the-top Oldsmobile Toronado Trofeo for 1988. Not a car for dyslexics or illiterates, it has around 100 words (and almost as many buttons!) sprinkled throughout the downsized but glamorous interior—as if every word adds another touch of luxury. Great for those who have never worked a window or seat control—even the shifter lets go of PRNDL, and spells it out for you! by @runitbytom

Our new Mod Flowers Game Mat is here! And it’s designed to handle everything from a competitive round of mahjong (ModJong!) to a rainy-day puzzle with the kids.

Our Creative Director, Tom Dolle, designed this mat with those signature Destination PSP motifs to bring our midcentury vibe right to your tabletop, and it's made to last. The bonded neoprene surface makes tiles and cards easy to pick up, while the non-slip rubber backing keeps everything in place and protects your table at the same time.

At 31.5 inches square, it fits comfortably on a standard game table, and the dense material softens the sound of tiles, dice, and game pieces. Mahjong, cards, dominoes, puzzles, building sets: it handles all of it. It's also the perfect pairing for our Modjong™ Customized Mahjong Tiles Set, coming soon. When you're done, just wipe it clean and roll it into the carrying bag. taken in Destination PSP by @runitbytom
