Omg I just ran a marathon and I loved it!! 🎉 So beyond happy with how the race went, I felt so strong throughout and actually loved the whole thing! My aim was to get sub 4 and I never imagined I would smash that goal by almost 9 minutes, so proud of myself! 🥇 The support from the crowd was amazing and a huge shout out to @nealm6 for running round Amsterdam trying to see me as many times as he could! Would 100% recommend @tcsamsterdammarathon to anyone wanting to do a marathon! by @runnerbeans14
WE DID IT!! LAKE GARDA HALF ✅ Mo - 2:01:32 ⚡️🤩 Em - 1:49:43 🤩⚡️ The absolutely stunning views the whole way round definitely kept us going, however the wind off the lake was not so great! #lakegarda21 #lakegarda #lakegarda42 #halfmarathon #hm #runner #running #run #runna by @runnerbeans14

What the heck, how is there only 2 weeks to go until the marathon?! 😅 The past few weeks have been tough. The longest run of the block was by far the hardest run of the entire training plan and really tested me! The 32km the following week, however, was great and gave my confidence a much-needed boost. It still genuinely baffles me that I can now just head out and run 30+ km on my own! 🤯 The speed sessions have also been going pretty well, which feels like a big win given the amount of mileage going into these legs! The easy runs, on the other hand, are starting to feel anything but easy. My motivation for them has pretty much vanished, but we’re so close now that it’s just a case of ticking them off! 2 weeks to go means TAPER TIME!!! 🥳 Time to reduce the load, eat ALL the carbs and trust that my body will actually be capable of running the full 42.2km in two weeks! 🫣🏃🏼‍♀️ #running #marathon #runner #run #runna by @runnerbeans14
Back to the gym in full swing this week after two weeks off having the most amazing time in Marrakesh☀️🐪🌵💛I have one more little get away next week to Krakow, and then the training is on for Hyrox Birmingham!! ✈️💪🏽🏃🏽‍♀️ This weeks training: Monday - treadmill and legs Tuesday - cardio Wednesday - treadmill and upper Thursday - cardio Friday - treadmill and legs Saturday - cardio Sunday - rest #gym #gymgirl #hyrox #running #marrakesh by @runnerbeans14
Another 3 weeks boxed off ✅ It’s been a bit of a rollercoaster over the past few weeks! 🎢 Went into week 10 off the back of being ill, so I was still coughing my way around my runs 🤧 However, I somehow managed to run my fastest 5k of the year, so I’m taking that win!!! 🏃🏼‍♀️💨 The practice race-pace long run was absolutely hell though 😂 It was SO warm and I ran out of water 🙃 We had a lovely little trip to Northern Ireland to finish off the week! We went to see Lewis Capaldi and visited the Giant’s Causeway 🌊 Week 11 was a little better, although I picked up a bit of a quad injury, so I swapped my speed session for another easy 9k. The long run went well, other than the fact Strava’s suggested route nearly got me killed running along the side of a road with no pavements 🥴 Week 12 has actually been the highlight of the three! Started the week with tired legs, but the 800m repeats were SO much fun and I felt AMAZING!! The long run was also one of the most enjoyable runs of the whole block… AND IT WAS MY FIRST RUN OVER 30KM!!! 🥹🏃🏼‍♀️ Nice little deload week next week, then it’s into the PEAK week of the block!! 🔥 The countdown is officially on. Not long to go now!! ⏳🏃🏼‍♀️ #running #marathon #runner #run by @runnerbeans14
A week of feeling fit and strong, smashing the cardio sessions and pbs all round in weight sessions! I also played padel for the first time this weekend… I definitely need some practice😬😂 This weeks training: Monday - legs and treadmill Tuesday - cardio Wednesday - upper and treadmill Thursday - cardio Friday - legs and treadmill Saturday - padel Sunday - rest #gym #gymgirl #running #weighttraining #hyrox by @runnerbeans14
Less than 2 months to go now!!! 🤩🏃‍♀️ Week 7 was great! I completed my longest run so far, 26km, whilst supporting @josh_.aky with his ultra! Week 8 was another lovely week of training and I felt so strong! 💪 Week 9 has been a little bit of a setback as I picked up some sort of heavy cold/flu 🤧 I got the chance to try out Runna’s illness feature and took 3 days off to recover. The great thing is that the plan has now adjusted to make sure I ease back into training without doing too much too soon! Ready to get back to it and really start building the distance now! 🏃‍♀️ #running #marathon #runner #amsterdammarathon #run by @runnerbeans14
