So excited by this, I think it deserves its own post!

Absolutely buzzing to be chosen as an ambassador for @protein_rebel 🧡

I've been using their gels for a good while - the taste is amazing, and they don't wreck my stomach (which is an issue I'd had in the past!). They've got me round multiple half and full marathons, as well as fuelling my two Hyrox Doubles.

Wednesday night gym date night with @leighs109 ❤️

Slightly busted after that one 😂 Hyrox stations and compromised runs for me - and by compromised, I think it meant "if you can still breathe, you're doing it wrong" 😂

Still, at least the burpees felt easier.

Lunges can get in the bin though...

Book 36 of the year finished the other day - and that's the penultimate one in the Horus Heresy!

Titandeath focuses, as the name suggests, on the Titan Legions who have been fairly absent from the Heresy so far.

Given that this was my first time properly reading about Titans, I wasn't sure whether I'd enjoy this one - but it was a pretty good read.

Really interesting seeing the internal dynamics of the Titans, and the Imperial Hunters were pretty class.

Also...Chaos Titans.

And everyone's favourite part of parkrun - the parkrun breakfast!

@leighs109 and I went to @fodderinthewoods for coffee and food after parkrun, and it didn't disappoint.

The setting was really cute - in a giant wigwam, with an open log fire burner...thing in the middle of the room for warmth.

The food was absolutely amazing - the bonfire beans were unusual, but really nice, and the sausage was different from what we're used to with our breakfasts, but I was a big fan.

The service was top-notch as well - everyone who served us was really friendly.

Great coffee too!

And look how pretty Leigh is 😍

For me, that's easily in my top five favourite breakfasts overall of our Regionnaire challenge.

Definitely woth a visit if you're down at Dunleath.

Plus the toilets were...charming 😂

Back to some NI parkrun tourism with @leighs109 this morning, as we made our way to Dunleath Playing Fields.

Quite enjoyed that one this morning - one smaller lap, then two slightly bigger ones with only a little bit of incline on each lap. Not much in the way of views really, but we can't have everything 😂

My legs were feeling a bit tired after the Half and then a "death by lunges" Hyrox session during the week, so I wasn't holding out much hope for a good time (though I'd have taken "quicker than last week").

I ended up getting round in 29:56, which is my fastest time since April this year - absolutely buzzing with that!

Lovely bumping into Dawn and @johnmcc126 there today - always nice seeing a friendly face!

That's now 243 parkruns across 58 different venues.

Now, just three remain in Northern Ireland...

Next September, I'll be heading to Copenhagen with @leighs109 to take on my second Super Half - the @cphhalf 🔥

Super excited about this one - Copenhagen was on our list of places to visit, so what better excuse than to run a half marathon 😂

What a day that was! @cardiffhalf didn't disappoint 🔥

Tough day, with it being pretty warm - and the hills in the final few miles being very stupid 😂

Still, I had my dream cheersquad of @leighs109 and Scarlett (and @liz.hill.503 joining today), which made things a lot easier.

Parts of that course were absolutely gorgeous - especially around the barrage and Cardiff Bay.

Happy with my time today - got round in 2:25:40 🥳

The atmosphere around the course today was absolutely incredible - there were very few parts with few supporters, and they definitely kept us going.

That's the fourth of the Halfs done - all in aid of @sandscharity 💜🧡

With Dublin Hyrox coming up (after a rest!), any and all donations are massively appreciated ❤️

Huge, huge thanks to Leigh for being THE most supportive partner over the course of the Halfs ❤️ having her at the finish line has made them all much easier.

Penultimate flat lay of the year (I'll probably do one for Dublin Hyrox 😂) - tomorrow is the last of my four Halfs for charity.

Tomorrow's @cardiffhalf is being run in aid of @sandscharity - the work they do is incredible for people facing the worst days of their lives.

I'll have the best cheersquad in @leighs109 and Scarlett out, cheering me on - and I can't wait to see them at the end ❤️

It wouldn't be a Saturday morning without a trip to a parkrun - and while in Wales, I figured I might as well get my Welsh flag!

Wee trip down to Porthcawl parkrun with @leighs109, Scarlett, @liz.hill.503 and @yorky_trev - and Bobby the Armadillo! @kerri_thrower asked me to make sure he made it to a parkrun while we were over...

Lovely out-and-back course along the seafront, which was slightly hillier than I expected - nothing too extreme though! Busy start, as it took me over a minute getting through the start line, but I felt good the whole way round.

Enjoyed that one today - wee shake out before tomorrow!

That's now 242 parkruns across 57 different venues - and that's my sixth flag on the app!

My vest for Sunday's @cardiffhalf has arrived.

This will be my fourth Half since the end of August, and I've been running them all in aid of @sandscharity

While I've never been affected directly, I've seen the amazing work they do to help people through some of the most difficult days they'll ever face.

As if four Halfs weren't enough, I'll also be doing a solo at Dublin Hyrox in November.
