Sometimes even when it feels like you’re running in circles, you are still building what’s necessary for the next breakthrough.

You have to climb some hills to see some beauty.

I’m not going to lie, when I started running in 2020 volt status in Nike Run Club seemed impossible. Six years later and here it is! What started as doing something healthier during 2020 lockdown turned into a full blown lifestyle. I have learned so much more about perseverance and, more importantly, made some of the best friends thanks to running.

Yesterday a woman, Renee Good, was murdered by ICE agents. Is this enough to satiate the darkness in your heart? Were the kidnappings of our neighbors not enough? by @running_with_kevin

This is the most miles I have ever run in a year. This year there were numerous half marathons (races and just for fun), a marathon, and a 34 miler. It was a lot of time: Time running, time training, and time spent with friends. Thanks to everyone in @donelsonrunclub and @nash.mrc that kept me motivated in so many ways. As always, thanks to @nicoleanelle for keeping me dreaming of what can be accomplished. by @running_with_kevin

Sometimes all it takes is a friend saying, “you want to do this thing?” The next thing you know you’re doing the longest run of your life.

Shout out to @theexchangerunningcollective for a killer event.
