To wear the Philippines across my chest and represent our country on the world stage is an honor beyond words. It is a blessing that countless athletes dream of, and it is a responsibility I hold with immense pride. Every drop of sweat, every obstacle overcome, and every sacrifice is for the flag. 🇵🇭

Two years of this incredible journey, and the fire only burns brighter. 🙏🏼 I will always give my absolute best, pouring my heart into every race and never taking a single moment for granted.

3 consecutive weekends of pure hustle: Trail Running (Tanay), Spartan DEKA (Manila), and Spartan OCR in Taiwan! 🇹🇼

Back in our national team days, it was all about chasing peak performance and carrying the country’s colors together. Years later, here we are again on the same starting lines! She’s still out there performing at the highest level, while my focus is deeply rooted in coaching.

Things have changed, and our post-race chats hit differently now. Instead of just talking about pace and splits, we’re exchanging stories about our coaching journeys. We talk about how going through these different challenges—from running & OCR to Hybrid Sports—helps us become better coaches for our students & clients.

Salamat, Sandi! Kitang-kita ko talaga kung paano ka nalulungkot kapag naiiwan ako sa course, and at the same time, witnessed how happy and genuinely excited you react whenever I make it to the podium. Pure and sincere! So grateful for you! 🥹❤️

And of course, hindi mawawala ang funny post-race moments! 😂

After Taiwan, with prize money in hand, we said, “Pwede na tayo kumain ng masarap!” Huminto sa harap ng steak house. Looking at the fancy steakhouse prices, we both stopped sabay tawaaaaa 🤣🤣🤣. That prize money took pure sweat and grit to earn. We definitely deserved a great meal, but we respect the hard work way too much to blow it all in one night!

So grateful for this bond, the shared grind, and always inspiring each other—on and off the course. 🙌❤️
