Tech Fest 5.0 wasn’t just an event, it was the grand finale of a semester filled with growth, innovation, and community 💙

Hosted at @redeemersuniversity
We brought together brilliant minds, bold ideas, and unforgettable moments.

To our partners, sponsors, speakers, volunteers, and every single person who showed up and showed out — thank you for making this a success. We couldn’t have done it without you.

A special appreciation to the 2025/2026 executives for their leadership, dedication, and vision throughout the year.

And with this, we officially close the 2025/2026 session.

See you next semester — bigger, better, and even more impactful.

Our community was at The Box Africa.

Yesterday, members of RUN Tech Space joined researchers, builders, investors and industry leaders at the launch of The Box Africa at Alliance Française, Lagos.

From AI research and African-language AI to medical AI and deep-tech, we got to see some of the work shaping the future of technology on the continent.

More than just learning about what is being built, we left with a deeper understanding of what it takes to move great research from discovery to real-world impact.

Grateful to The Box Africa team for having our community there for Day One. by @runtechspace

A big thank you to the team behind The Box Africa for welcoming members of RUN Tech Space to the event.

We had a great time exploring the conversations around AI, technology, research, and innovation, and hearing from people building across the ecosystem.

We truly enjoyed the experience and are grateful to have been part of it. by @runtechspace

Okay so this is my very first Instagram post and GITEX 2026 earned that honor 😌🌍. Day 1 was an amazing experience. Went in not really knowing what to expect, and left with new connections, some genuinely inspiring conversations, and a much bigger picture of where tech is headed. Met people building things I didn't even know were possible. Got to connect with some incredible people and communities doing amazing work in tech — excited for what's ahead 🌍

To kickstart the new month, two representatives of our community members attended @gitexnigeria 2026 in Lagos where they experienced an array of keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities that sparked conversations around some of the biggest developments in technology today particularly Artificial Intelligence (AI).

The event featured exhibitions from various companies, while startups had the opportunity to showcase their businesses and share their ideas!

From exploring exhibitions by different companies and listening to startups share their stories, to attending keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking sessions, they got a firsthand look at the people and ideas shaping the tech ecosystem.

We’re taking the lessons, insights, and inspiration back to our community.

Special thanks to @valuestek_official for making this possible. by @runtechspace
