My journey to this moment wasn’t exactly a straight line. From completing my National Diploma (ND), to spending some time away from school before returning to continue my undergraduate studies, there were delays and gaps along the way. My journey may have taken a little longer than expected, but today, I’m grateful that I kept going.

Looking back, I realise that everyone’s journey is different, and a delay doesn’t mean the dream has ended.

There’s only so much you can learn in a classroom.

Being a leader in my university community @runtechspace has taught me that exposure is not a luxury, it’s a necessity.

It’s one thing to learn technical and soft skills, but another to see how things actually work in the real world.

That’s why we stepped beyond the classroom.

We organized a field trip to @theflutterwave, and it was everything we hoped for.
From conversations about the tech ecosystem to understanding on career growth, transitions, and what really matters in the industry, it all just clicked.

Moments like this remind me why communities like ours exist, to bridge the gap between learning and real life.

Grateful for the experience, and even more excited for what’s ahead.

Okay so this is my very first Instagram post and GITEX 2026 earned that honor 😌🌍. Day 1 was an amazing experience. Went in not really knowing what to expect, and left with new connections, some genuinely inspiring conversations, and a much bigger picture of where tech is headed. Met people building things I didn't even know were possible. Got to connect with some incredible people and communities doing amazing work in tech — excited for what's ahead 🌍

There’s nothing I love more than speaking to students. I had the opportunity to speak to the students of Redeemer’s University about building products in an AI world, using the Pewbeam @pewbeam_ai story as a case study.

Very amazing intellectual minds. The questions asked spoke volumes about this.

We had an amazing and rewarding time at RUNTechFest 5.0, organized by @runtechspace at Redeemer's University (@redeemersuniversity)!

We took the stage to speak about our FREE Coursera programmes and the upcoming BeatCode Hackathon 2.0 in June. And at our booth, we met with students and instructors, answering questions, and watching people light up at all the opportunities available to them in the digital space.

Digital inclusion belongs everywhere and to everyone, and moments like these reaffirm our commitment to bringing it there.
