Welcome to the team, Client Legal Solutions! 👏

Last year Client Legal Solutions supported The Spectacle as a Local Hero. Every Local Hero goes into the draw to become an Official Partner the following year, and this time they came out on top.

So, in 2026, you'll see their name on the Client Legal Road Relay, racing through the heart of Nelson on Saturday 5 December!

Client Legal Solutions is a Nelson and Motueka law firm that is all about client care. They look out for the best outcome for every client, explain things to in plain language, and always put their clients and their community first. It's a mindset we share.

We've worked with the Client Legal Solutions team ourselves and can say they absolutely practice what they preach. 🙌

Need good local legal advice? Go and check them out 👇

The Spectacle 5km course has had a serious upgrade! 🔥

We’re stoked to announce that the 5km will now be made up of just two stunning loops through the CBD and along the Maitai River.

You’ll still get the inner-city atmosphere you know and love, but now with a whole lot more of Nelson’s beautiful natural scenery thrown in. 🌿

And what better timing than to coincide with The Spectacle hosting the Athletics New Zealand 5km Road Championships!

🎉 YOU’VE DONE IT!! 🎉

You’ve raised a whopping $50,000 for local charities! ❤️

We’re honestly a little lost for words.

Over 900 people have donated to support local organisations that do so much for our communities. Every fundraiser, donation, and socials post has helped get us here, and we're pretty darn blown away.

We're not done yet though - there's still two months until race day. How much more do you think we can raise in the next eight weeks?? by @runthespectacle

Let’s settle some very important running debates. 👀

Road or trail?
Morning or evening runs?
Summer running or winter running?

Screenshot this post, circle your picks and share your answers to your story. Then tag a running mate and see how different (or dangerously similar) your choices are! 😂

Don't forget to tag @thespectacle.nz so we can see what you picked! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ by @runthespectacle

We’re on the hunt for our 2026 volunteer legends! 🙌

It’s our incredible team of volunteers who have helped bring The Spectacle to life over the past two years, and this year we’re looking for almost 200 legends to help make it happen again!

To say a huge THANK YOU for giving up your time and energy, every volunteer will receive a Spectacle volunteer tee - so you can look the part while cheering, directing, supporting and generally making race-day magic happen.

If you’ve got the time and capacity to volunteer this year, we’d love to hear from you.

Simply get in touch with Sirena at volunteers@thespectacle.co.nz, and she’ll find a role that works for you. by @runthespectacle

WE’RE ABSOLUTELY BLOWN AWAY! 🔥

Look at how much you’ve already raised through The Spectacle!

We’re sitting at almost $11.5k raised for charity already — and we reckon it might be time to rethink our fundraising target… What do you think we should aim for?

$20K? $30K? $40K?! More??

An incredible $10,000 has been raised for Nelson Tasman Hospice alone, which is absolutely amazing. ❤️

If you haven’t signed up to fundraise through your Spectacle event yet, there’s still plenty of time. Pick your charity, set up your fundraising page and get your friends, whānau and colleagues behind you. Let’s band together and help raise some much-needed funds for some great causes.

👉 Sign up to fundraise via the link below and let’s see how far we can take this!

Every dollar makes a difference💚
