Whether you crushed a 5K, conquered a half, or survived the full marathon, your race deserves a proper post-finish celebration! Join us at the RTB Cheer Station (at Bay/Lakeshore) then at GLB Brewpub from 11:30AM onwards to swap race stories, celebrate those PBs (and the races that are all about character-building!), and the best part...reconnect with the running community!!

Bring your race bib**, bring your cheer squad, and bring those post-race happy jelly legs! First-time finish or a new P:R (personal record), every achievement deserves a little celebration.

**Flash your bib and you’ll get a celebratory beer in your hand courtesy of GLB!!

Post : Race. The hard part is done.
Personal : Record. PB or not, you showed up.
Party : Ready. Because crossing the finish line isn’t the end of the story.

The RunTOBeer Howlers are back cheering on runners at the TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. This year we’ll be on Bay Street, just north of Lake Shore by Scotiabank Arena, at the 20.2 km mark. We will be handing out beer for thirsty runners who want a boost to finish!

This Sunday, we’re heading to the Canary District to @lostcraftcanary. This east-end space with a west-facing patio is no stranger to us. Their sister brewpub in the St. Clair & Runnymede area has been a longtime friend of RunTOBeer - @lostcraftbeer / @highparkbrewery is THE supporter of our Spring Run-Off handoffs at the top of the hill! So it’s about time we returned the favour and checked out their new digs in the Canary!

Sunny days are for adventure! Our crew recently hit the road to Hamilton to visit @fairweatherbeer for their fresh brews and gorgeous taproom. Runners were treated to delicious beer and @mccallisterssandwiches was on site to feed our hungry crew. Join us next time! by @runtobeer

Did you miss GLB’s awesome Brewed for You beer festival over at the brewery last month? Well, lucky for you, GLB Brewpub is hosting an afternoon of traditional German food, dancing and music in the Yard! There will be dancers in traditional Tracht, DJ Elvis will be spinning a fury of disco beats, and we know how competitive you runners are, because there will be a Stein Holding Contest!

Sounds like they will also be crowning the winner of Best Oktoberfest Outfit, so come dressed to impress!

And of course, runners who run with us for 10/5/3K will also get a welcome #FreshGLB beer - the best way to start off your Disco Oktoberfest!

For our September Off-Script run - new joint, new neighbourhood (well, for RunTOBeer!), new destination!

On Tues Sep 15, the crew made it to The Jay after the skies opened up and dumped 5mm of rain in 20 minutes! After 8K, big smiles on drenched runners as they got to choose their welcome beer: @sonsofkent Juice Box IPA or El Camino Mexican Lager, and Bingo turned out to be a very big hit. A solid east-end adventure and a pretty great way to break up a school night. Thanks to The Jay and Sons of Kent for having us! A few runners have already declared the wings their new go-to, so say hi to Matt next time you’re in! by @runtobeer

RunTOBeer is heading to Hamilton!

Known for having both one of the best craft beer scenes in Ontario and a vibrant running culture, there’s no better reason to leave Toronto for the first autumn weekend.

Our route will take us along tree-lined rail trails, quiet streets, and through the bustling McMaster campus, leading back to @fairweatherbeer . For nearly a decade, Fairweather has led the Hamilton beer scene, producing everything from crisp pilsners to fruity sours, bold stouts, and juicy IPAs. And for those who like to run and talk about beer at the same time, we’ll be joined on our run by head brewer Thomas Bancic, one of the people responsible for all of these great beers.

We’re polka’ing west to Polish Fest, and when in Roncy, showing some love to RTB founder Dan at @bossanovato is a must!

After 10K, Beer Runners will be wishing each other Na zdrowie!, raising #FreshGLB glasses (or cans!) in celebration. @greatlakesbeer is an official sponsor of the Roncesvalles Polish Festival. You’ll have an opportunity to check out all the local artists and musicians and, of course, PEROGIES and cuisine from local eateries! May even sign-up for the Perogi-Eating Contest!👀

For our September Off-Script, we are making our first-ever visit to @the.jaybar on Gerrard East, discovering a new east-end neighbourhood hangout for the RTB crew. We will be featuring @sonsofkent , Chatham’s first craft brewery.

Summer is officially on borrowed time…The CNE is wrapping up, last-minute back-to-school is stressing you out, routines are returning, and pretty soon we’ll all be wondering why there are suddenly SO MANY CARS on the road again!

Well, RunTOBeer is always here for you - We’re heading back to one of our favourite spots for September’s edition of Th1rst Saturday Run Club to @glb_brewpub - get in some easy social miles (on a NEW route!) followed by #FreshGLB beers, and of course, good company! We promise no rushing nor sitting in traffic, just another relaxing RunTOBeer Saturday afternoon with us, catching whatever we have left of the summer.
