The marathon might be behind me, but the journey never really ends.

Packing the running shoes meant every new destination turns into an adventure waiting to be unlocked.

Soaking up the Athens sights. It's never a better way to see a new city than on foot, right? by @runwithcounsel

The birthplace of the modern Olympic Games.

The chance to leave a footprint in this historical landscape.

A once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will stay with me long after the final lap.

What's one place you have run that you will never forget?

Running through the heart of Budapest along the scenic Danube River straight to what could possibly be the best track in Europe! I heard I should run in the #NemzetiAtlétikaiKözpont, National Athletics Center.

Places featured in this video along the path:

Elisabeth Bridge
Liberty Chain Bridge
Shoes on the Danube River
Moon Budapest
Gellért Hill Cave Church

Ran 3 miles of mile repeats on the track. The craziest part was that this world-class venue which is open to the is a public exercise facility! Having an elite stadium almost completely empty felt unreal.

Come run with me through one of Vienna most beautiful parks, the Schronbrunn Gardens. Opened to the public in 1779 and named a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1996. It reminds me of a lot of Central Park.

Originally used as an imperial hunting ground in the 1600s it was transformed by Empress Maria Theresa in the 1700s into a grand summer palace.

Over 400 acres of pristine, tree-lined gravel path. There are plenty of scenic miles to be had! I stuck to 5 miles as I explored. If you are brave enough to tackle a steep hill, you are rewarded with panoramic views of Vienna at the top. I'm from Atlanta, so of course I ran up the hill with no issue!

New city! New country! Same ole song.

Exploring Prague my favorite way; on foot.

Take a quick glimpse into my world and run with me through the sites.

I'd rather fail than play it safe.

The goal in Berlin was bigger than just a PR. I trained hard so I wanted to crush my previous best. From the start I set out to be Bold and Daring from line to line! I came up short.

In the end it wasn't the final time I aimed for, but I was on track for 30 kilometers! Now I know it's possible.

Three World Marathon Majors under my belt. I learned a lot about my limits and my fueling, and I'm leaving the Berlin marathon course looking ahead to the next chapter of my marathon journey. taken in Berlin, Germany by @runwithcounsel

It was a family affair! What a memorable experience running with my two favorite people plus 14,000 people in the Generali 5K "United We Run!"

My wife was aiming for a personal best, which we accomplished.

My son's first 5K and he did awesome even with me holding him back at first.
