We recently had the absolute pleasure to open for @sylvanesso’s @madeofoak at @toulousetheatre on the last night of Jazz Fest and it couldn’t have been more fun for us and the whole packed house! Nick is a dreamboat and we’re extremely thankful for his generosity!

This was our last song of the night, a remix of the classic Meters’ song “They All Ask’d for You” that we made for this past Mardi Gras. It feels really special for us to weave Lil Wayne and The Meter’s together as an homage to the immense creativity and passion we are swimming in down here. We’re both so grateful to all y’all for turning up and turning out over and over again for our little improvised experiments and we’re hoping to release a lot of new material this year to give you more surprises and lure you into our little hedonistic fever dream.

@choreboys.party have had a truly impeccable October so far and it’s only getting more thrilling as the spooky fall weather turns dreadfully delightful!

First off, huge thanks to @sherelle_ and her tour manager (and a fucking party legend in our book) @ronjavanheyningen for giving us a night to talk about til the next time they come back! We had the time of our lives and our quads are still aching.

We’ve got a ton of fun this week for you to break out your cool weather looks and sexy layers, then shed them on a sweaty dance floor!

Wednesday we’re celebrating @christinbradford’s BDAY at @bjslounge! She’ll be singing with @alqsings and we’ll be going on right after at midnight!

Friday we’re playing our FIRST EVER set at the @saintbarnola til just about sunrise! @rustylazer used to play there all the time but @choreboys.party are making it a first finally and we hope y’all can make it! $FREE.00

Saturday we’re back at home in @laundrydaycarriebradshaw’s living room at @annasnola from 9p-1am! We love it there and we’d love to soak the dance floor in sweat drenched glory with you. Last time might have been the best one yet. Let’s top it! NO COVER AS USUAL :)

Last week had so many highlights. Thanks for having us @aroranola. Thanks for joining us on the SHERELLE show @toki.doki.hoe and @freakpov. Thanks for setting up a lovely evening in Austin for us to play with @eldusty, @diskocowboy! It means the world to use what we love to do to connect with new people and deepen relationships. It was a serendipitous moment when @freakpov’s use of this particular @sherelle_ song in a post about an upcoming show reminded me that I should reach out to her booking agent just to let them know that if SHERELLE was ever back in the U.S. that @choreboys.party would move whatever mountains we needed to to have her visit New Orleans. To our surprise they wrote back immediately and simply asked “How about October 8th?”!!! (Thanks @liaisonartists!)

We jumped on it and now we get to have a show that simply would have passed us by like so many other amazing artists tend to do.

So it was a no brainer to immediately ask if @freakpov wanted to jump on it with us and now we can say it’s so much more than just a SHERELLE show. You won’t see artists like her, @toki.doki.hoe and us all on a bill at a spot with a sound system like @aroranola every day. I can’t wait to mix up all of our die hards and dance floor demons in one room with a cultural hero like SHERELLE at the top of the mountain.

Freak POV is a woman of DJ experience, an equal opportunity genre lover, a prismatic pendulum of saccarine and sweltering. She lives in New Orleans. She can often be found spinning gay club music with her biological sisters in the b3b bass hydra Female Trouble. @toki.doki.hoe, a femme nonbinary DJ/ PRODUCER born and raised in Dallas, Texas, is most known for their hard beats and fast bpm music either at a rave or in a club setting , as well as the work they have done for the black queer EDM scene in new orleans.

After moving to New Orleans almost 10 years ago, they and 2 other former founders started a femme led EDM collective named DELIRIUM AURA in 2022, where they are most known for creating a safe space for 18+ Queer POC people and their allies!

Toki is known to mix their love for RnB and pop into their love for club and techno music, creating the perfect blend of sounds you love and sounds you didn’t know you loved YET!

Some genres you can expect to hear in a TOKIDOKIHOE Set can range, with some of their favorite genres being Tribal, Club [ I.e Latin, Baltimore, Southern] , Hard Techno, techno, and Ghetto tech.

With 4 years of djing under their belt, they have been able to pave a way to bring bigger names to new orleans, to show others around the country [and the world] that new orleans loves edm music, as well as helping cultivate the next generation of ravers/dancers. by @rustylazer

Gonna post up a few bios of each of these incredible artists as we near the date of the Sherelle show on Oct 8th at @aroranola (tix in our bios!)!

First off, here’s a quick rundown of @sherelle_ for the uninitiated:

Young and legendary UK Bass DJ and producer with a strong affinity for supporting UK dance music and underground culture.

SHERELLE is the champion of high speed dance music who has led a new generation of club kids to tempos of 160 bpm and beyond. Her style is an ever evolving mix of the familiar and the unexpected, with strong elements of Jungle, Footwork, Dancehall and Drum and Bass.

Sherelle’s breakthrough happened with a viral 2019 set which enabled her to take up music full time.

Named one of Mixmag’s Top 25 Producers, nominated for the MOBO Awards’ Best Electronic Act and winner of DJ Mag’s Best of British 2025, breakthrough Producer, SHERELLE entered a new era of artistry with the release of her debut album WITH A VENGEANCE (WAV).

As a supporter and promoter of UK Bass culture, she has been a presenter on the South London station Reprezent, eventually holding a slot on BBC Radio 1 as a part of their Radio 1 Residency until 2021. Strong trail ride vibes, better off alone/the prodigy/bjork/sisqo mashups, inter-generational pool wiggles, (some stuff I can’t share here 🥵) and home to Pony Boy just being Pony Boy.

@choreboys.party were unbelievably lucky to catch a blisteringly hot late night @sherelle_ set at @glastofest last year and the first thought we had when it ended was “How can we get her to New Orleans?!”

We’re immensely happy to announce our first @twofoldarts event, SHERELLE, live from London, at @aroranola with some of our absolute favourite local artists on the roster!

SHERELLE’s uniqueness lies in her ability to rage at high BPM’s while retaining musicality, constantly shifting genres and evolving melodies over a bedrock of Jungle, Footwork and Drum & Bass breaks paired with earth crumbling bass lines. Her ability to move with emotional intensity between genres and styles has been creating converts to high speed, high energy dance music globally for years, and we couldn’t be more excited for New Orleans to get to have her to ourselves for a night.

@freakpov and @toki.doki.hoe are well known to many of you, and if they’re not this night is going to take you places we can’t properly prepare you for. They’re a couple of our faves and we know you’ll love them too. We hope you come get blessed up by SHERELLE and show up early for the majesty of Toki Doki Hoe and Freak POV. Of course Chore Boys will be doing what we do and doing our best to keep up with the immense talent we’re sharing the stage with.

“Easier Done Than Said” defines so much of what resistance to tech domination and social media siloing is built upon, and it’s a founding nugget of what we want to bring y’all with @twofoldarts apart from what we do with Chore Boys or our personal work. Live, in-person experiences that feel immediate, singular, irreplaceable and rare.
