At our next Gloucestershire pin meeting, we’re doing something a little different...

🏡 LIVE PROPERTY DEAL CLINIC

Got a property deal you’re looking at but not sure if it really stacks up? 👀

We’re inviting property investors to send us their deals ahead of the meeting and have them assessed by our expert panel. (Location will be kept anonymous!)

We’ll have a Project Manager, Valuer, Mortgage Broker and Estate Agent looking at the selected deals in advance.

Then, on the night, we’ll crunch the numbers live in front of the room.
We’ll look at the costs, finance, potential end value, exit strategy, risks and opportunities and answer the big question...

Would our panel actually do the deal?

It could be a flip, BRRRR, HMO, serviced accommodation, commercial to residential conversion or simply a deal you’ve found and want another set of eyes on.

🔒 Your deal will be kept anonymous. We won’t share the exact address, location or property frontage, so your opportunity remains protected.

No deal to submit? Come along anyway. There’s going to be a huge amount to learn from watching real property deals and real numbers being analysed from four completely different professional perspectives.

What if the biggest barrier disabled people face isn’t their disability… but the homes we build?

In the latest episode of Accessible Housing Matters UK, I sat down with accessibility consultant and advocate Luis Canto E Castro for a powerful conversation about the reality of living in inaccessible housing.

From unsafe door thresholds and inaccessible bathrooms, to the emotional toll of fighting for basic adaptations, Luis shares firsthand what so many people across the UK are experiencing every day.

One of the most shocking parts?

Despite needing major adaptations, Luis was refused support through the Disabled Facilities Grant because the system only looked at household income, not the actual cost of living with a disability.

We talk about:
✨ Why accessible homes should be built properly from the start
✨ The flaws in the DFG system
✨ How developers continue to remove accessibility from schemes
✨ The importance of independence, dignity and quality of life
✨ Why lived experience must shape housing policy
