When a dear friend and esteemed mentor asks you to make the titles for his first short film you've gotta say yes.

Congrats @nickmorsemagalhaes on The Flies getting accepted into @gigharborfilm and @indiewoodfilmfestival !

Another year of side quests in the books 🤸🏽‍♀️

Every year my work has me make the holiday card despite no longer being on the Design team 🙃 It's always a little rough to have one last big project right when things are supposed to slow down, but it's good to flex different muscles than I get to use typically in my video work. And it *is* kinda fun and silly when it shows up in the mail, I can't lie--even though it also opens up a whole new round of mental nitpicking to see the design again actually printed lol.

Hopefully in 2026 I will be brave and post more work in general but no promises 🤪 by @rvb.design

🎬 Presenting: FREQUENCY 🎬

I’m excited to share Frequency, a short horror film made for the @dc48hourfilm contest! Check out the poster and teaser trailer!

This was my second time in the competition, but my first time leading a team. The 48-hour time limit was a little nerve-racking, but it was a great experience. I learned a lot, like just how much paperwork goes into a 48-hour shoot (so many forms), and found new ways to pull off jump scares without actors diving onto the floor.

Group A — 10/29 @ 7:00 PM
@afisilvertheatre, Silver Spring

I cant promise to post more of the photos I take in 2023, but I could stand to share from time to time. Unfortunately it's mostly pictures of plants and abandoned objects I see on the street, but this luckily is at least a mix courtesy of the last half of 2022.

I'm making something for this event hosted by @dukeandduck! Terrifying! It's a spooky little number about what a mess it is to live ~here~ as a queer black person. Tickets at the link in my bio.
