🎬 Presenting: FREQUENCY 🎬

I’m excited to share Frequency, a short horror film made for the @dc48hourfilm contest! Check out the poster and teaser trailer!

This was my second time in the competition, but my first time leading a team. The 48-hour time limit was a little nerve-racking, but it was a great experience. I learned a lot, like just how much paperwork goes into a 48-hour shoot (so many forms), and found new ways to pull off jump scares without actors diving onto the floor.

I finally get to say I make a living advocating for people- whether it’s in the purchase or sale of their home (find me at @seward.group 🏡) speaking up about policy that will harm everyday Americans (find me at @vadogwoodnews 📣) or using my spiritual gifts to help people feel seen (find me at @thetrine✨). Oh and my volunteer life is a community builder’s dream (find me at @theveraisonproject 🍷 and @dinneroverparty 🍽️). 10/10 recommend building a life YOU love and living it on YOUR terms- it doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s life, nor should it! Go be weird and authentic and amazing and yourself! 📸 by ro v. brooks at the Power Up Women’s Summit- @rvb.design
