I want to give a big thank you to @rwatchco for sending me their Jakkal to review.

I’ve really enjoyed checking this watch out. I love the military inspired look, especially the history behind the design and how it takes inspiration from field watches associated with African conflicts during the 1960s and 1970s.

The 38mm case is a great size, and I really like the black PVD finish paired with the leather Bund strap. The fact that you can remove the Bund portion and change up the look is a really nice touch.

You also get a Swiss Ronda 713 quartz movement, a domed sapphire crystal, 100m water resistance, and blue lume. I think Revelation did a great job combining a vintage military aesthetic with modern features that make this watch practical for everyday wear.

Overall, I think the Jakkal looks amazing, and I really appreciate Revelation Watch Company giving me the opportunity to check it out and share my thoughts. This is definitely a watch I’ve enjoyed wearing!

A little coastal weather and three different interpretations of the classic tool watch.

San Diego has been treating us to gray skies, steady rain, and some genuinely cool temperatures. A welcome change from the Arizona desert and a reminder of what autumn is supposed to feel like.

Figured I’d take advantage of the moody afternoon light and put together a little land, sea, and air exercise.
