The day was chaotic.
The schedule was wild.
My nerves were shot.

But still, God showed up.

Storm was baptized in the same church I was baptized in 39 years ago, and where Luca was baptized 8 years ago. Wearing our zuria, held by faith, culture, and legacy.

Today is also my brother Semere’s birthday.
In his memory, I’m learning that presence matters more than perfection.

Today I turned 41 years old. Where does the time go when you are having fun?? Thank you God. & I owe a few Thank Yous to a lot of people...

Thank you to my amazing wife Shayla & 3 crazy kids for making each day feel like a dream within a dream. This kind of happiness, money can not buy. I'm lucky and also honored to be your husband @shayla.nicole 😘🫶🏾

My family..I wouldn't have made it to 41 if not for you. Y'all do not play about me lol. Especially my big sis @thinksmart.cc . Y'all have protected and guided me since birth. Thanks for seeing my potential and for so much support! I carry you all with me everywhere I go.

Friends. I have some really really dope friends. Thanks for showing me the good in humanity. And thanks for keeping me laughing so much🙏🏾.

Anyone I've ever photographed 📷. Thank you. My camera has taken me places I've never thought possible and I've met some amazing people along the way. Even though I spend soooo many grueling hours editing photos of your beautiful faces, I feel honored to continue to photograph you all. Thanks for the support over the years. Time is the most precious thing to me and being able to stop time with a photograph is my contribution to the universe. Thanks for helping me find purpose and a passion.

Got to see @larussell perform last week 🔥🔥🔥 I can't even call it a concert. It was more than that. Kinda like a family reunion tbh. Without a doubt, one of the best shows I've experienced. It's just different 💯 taken in Skully's Music-Diner by @ryan.jones_
