What a weekend for the boys!

Saturday, Brannan and his Centaurs team battled hard in the insane Singapore heat to take the W and become the JRCS U17 champs.

Sunday, Cooper captained his Dragons squad to victory in an extremely close finals match to become JRCS U14 champs.

Sarah and I are some proud parents! The dedication, commitment and passion the boys have for the sport of rugby was shining bright this weekend.

Christmas traditions aren’t always about what you do — they are about who you do them with! I do however, love our little family Christmas tradition of high tea. Thanks St Regis for the delicious treats! 🎄 🤶 Happy Holidays! 🎅 🎄 taken in St. Regis Hotel Singapore by @ryan_markwart

Pride doesn’t even cover it!
Watching you push through pain, dig deep, and refuse to quit was something special.

While the end result was not what many of us were envisioning, this is a team to be proud of! What a game! What a series! What a playoffs! What a season! From last place in the previous season to one run away from winning the World Series in game 7. Just amazing! So many great memories created from this playoff run. From Springer Dingers to Vladdy doing Vladdy things to pinch hit grand slams to savage performances from Yesavage this team came together and did what most said couldn’t be done. Outside of baseball this created some great memories for my family as well. We stressed and cheered throughout it all together! Can’t wait for next season Jays! Thank you! by @ryan_markwart

Words can’t express how proud I am of Brannan! 🏅 We just took on the Spartan Beast together in Phuket, Thailand—a grueling 21 km, 30-obstacle course with 577 meters of elevation gain, all under a relentless 37°C heat.

Brannan showed so much grit, battling through every ounce of mental and physical strain. Watching him dig deep, overcome each obstacle, and push through when things got tough was nothing short of inspiring. 💪🔥

The Beast was the final piece to completing the Spartan Trifecta. A journey we started in 2023 when Brannan was just 14. While the Spartan purists might say that we didn’t complete all the events in the same race year so it doesn’t count……to that I say “Who gives a F__K!” We did it our way!

Being able to share this journey with him, side by side, is a memory I’ll hold onto forever. Way to go, Brannan—you truly are a Spartan warrior! 🛡️ #spartanrace #spartanracethailand #spartanbeast #prouddad taken in Blue Tree Phuket by @ryan_markwart

What a weekend!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Cooper and I flew to Hanoi, Vietnam as he was selected to represent Singapore in the Asian Youth Gaelic Football Championships.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
After an extremely hot day of matches his team, the Singapore Cubs (U12) held on to win the championship match by a score of 2-1.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
So proud of the team and thankful of the coaches and organizers of the event. It was one that will be remembered forever!
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I am pretty sure all the kids are still smiling from a successful weekend!
