Late last year I worked with Leeds United. Educating their staff on the functionality of @technogym Biostrength REV Line. Our main goal was to ensure they could optimally train players in the season when they have large amounts of games and also help players return to play. by @ryan_maverickstrength

Over 4 years under the guidance of @ryan_maverickstrength

About 3 months into trying strongman I asked @thestrongmanway where in the world I could go to learn & engross myself in strongman

Off the back of cold DM, Ryan took me into his home & business. Fast forward 4 years, still chasing the Dream, still living in Ryan’s spare room & couldn’t be happier.

Wanted a strongman coach , but I found a brother.

Don’t often express my gratitude as I should, so thank you brother.

Listen….. I love a peak.

It’s what gets me out of bed in the morning 🤣

The thought of sending all them pre workouts and slinging tin. Yeah, it’s a bit of me.

However, without the foundations. Your peak will be either not high enough or cut short due to injury.

So, you need a phase to let your tissue restore and allow yourself time to rebuild strength deficits.

The less likes the exercise gets on here. Probably, the better it is for your body. by @ryan_maverickstrength

🥈 SUMMIT OF STRENGTH — 2ND PLACE

A fucking podium against some of the strongest men in the world.

I got the call-up just one week before the show. No full competition prep. No months of building specifically for these events.

Just an opportunity to step up and test myself against a seriously stacked field.

And I finished 2nd. 🥈

That result means a lot.

Not just because of the placing, but because I’m finally starting to see the work we’ve been putting in come through when it matters.

The changes we’ve been making in training are starting to show. We’re seeing the improvements. We’re seeing the progress. And we’re starting to see the athlete we’ve been working towards.

That gives me a lot of confidence moving forward.

A huge thank you to everyone behind Summit of Strength. The show was run brilliantly from start to finish, and the entire crew deserve massive credit for putting on such a great competition.

A special thank you to my coach and mentor for the work, belief and commitment behind the scenes.

And to my sponsors, thank you for continuing to back me and be part of this journey. I genuinely appreciate the support.

2nd place.
Stacked lineup.
Short notice.
Progress showing.

I’m proud of this one

But I know there’s more to come !!! by @ryan_maverickstrength

England’s Strongest Man 2026.

7th.

Last year I finished 9th.

This year I finished 7th.

To some people, that’s only two places.

To me, it’s proof that no amount of pain, setbacks or hardship is enough to stop me.

Just weeks before this competition, I herniated my L4 and L5 discs.

Most people would’ve accepted that their competition was over.

I refused.

This year has tested me in ways I’ll never be able to put into words. Not just physically, but mentally. There were days I wanted to throw it all away. Days where the weight outside the gym felt heavier than anything I’d ever lifted inside it.

But that’s the thing about pressure…

It doesn’t destroy everyone.

Sometimes it creates something far more dangerous.

I realised that nobody is coming to save me. Nobody is going to hand me a title. Nobody cares how hard the journey has been.

You either keep fighting…

Or you get left behind.

So I kept showing up.

When my body hurt, I trained.

When my mind was telling me to quit, I trained.

When people doubted me, I trained.

Because champions aren’t built on the days everything goes right.

They’re built when every reason to quit is staring them in the face and they refuse.

Standing on that Giants Live stage wasn’t the achievement.

It was a reminder.

A reminder that I can stand shoulder to shoulder with the strongest men in the country, even after everything this year threw at me.

Respect to every athlete who stepped onto that floor.

To my family, friends, training partners, coach ,physio ,sponsors and everyone who stood beside me when I was at my lowest thank you. Your belief carried me further than you’ll ever know.

Pain tested me.

Pressure made me.

Hardship revealed who I really am.

This wasn’t my destination.

It was my introduction.

The next chapter won’t be about proving I belong.

It’ll be about proving exactly why I’m here. by @ryan_maverickstrength
