Becoming your Mama was the moment my heart changed forever. I never knew it was possible to feel this much love all at once, the kind that reaches into every part of your soul and changes you completely.

Then there you were… our precious baby boy in my arms, looking at me and daddy with your tiny eyes, and suddenly nothing else in the world mattered anymore. In that moment, our heart belonged to you forever.

Being your Mama is the greatest privilege of my life. It’s love, tenderness, gratitude, joy, protection, wonder, and a depth of emotion I could never put fully into words. You are my greatest blessing, my sweetest boy, my everything.

Daddy and I will love you forever, our precious cub. We cannot wait to watch you grow, hold your hand through life, and create the most beautiful memories together.

I’ve dreamt of writing these words for a really long time… and today I finally can say

We’re having a baby.
For those who know my story, you know this journey hasn’t been simple.
I’ve lived with endometriosis for many years - the pain, the uncertainty, the “keep trying” conversations, the months of hope followed by heartbreak.
There were moments I wondered if my body would ever feel safe enough to do this…

And yet… here we are.

Naturally conceived.
In our own timing.
The most beautiful and sacred gift from God I have ever received… the gift of creating life itself, our precious baby.

I thank God every day for hearing my prayers, for holding me through the hardest parts of my journey when I lost my gran, and for bringing my husband into my life so that we could create our little family with so much love.

To our precious son, we love you soooo much already.

So I married the love of my life!! We didn’t have a wedding (yet), we’re saving that special celebration for a few years down the road, when we can share it with all our friends and family. But we did capture this magical day… and even without the crowd, it couldn’t have been more perfect.

With that said, I wanted to share a few words about what this day meant to me.

Marrying Ryan, felt like stepping into a world I never knew existed… a world where love is gentle, steady, and true. Before him, I didn’t know a love like this was real... I thought emotional safety & security was something you built alone, not something another soul would provide for you.

But then came Ryan 🤍

His love reached the most fragile parts of me… the places I kept hidden, even from myself, and held them with such tenderness that they began to heal. With him, I’ve found a peace I didn’t think was meant for me. He is my home, in every sense of the word…the calm in my chaos, the anchor when I drift.

Through his love, I’ve learned that I don’t have to be guarded to be strong. I’ve learned what it feels like to be truly seen, chosen and still deeply loved. And every day, I’m in awe of the quiet strength he gives me just by being who he is.

I never thought I would find this kind of love, and now that I have…I never want to let it go. I will love & choose you forever Ryan - until death do us apart, and even then, my soul will find yours in our next life time. xx
