19 months later, I’M BACK🥹🥹🥹

Yesterday I competed in my first competition back in over a year and a half, an English Championship Qualifier. This being a moment I have been waiting for constantly throughout my rehab journey.

I went into the competition with no expectations and no result focus, just with one goal only which was to enjoy the competition and take it all in again, and I definitely did that😅I managed to place first in the 17-21 category which felt like a massive bonus and was a credit to all the hard work I have been putting in behind the scenes🥇 This year is all about being back out there, improving myself mentally and physically, and being grateful I have the opportunity to compete at this level again. The competition was definitely a struggle, however when I finished my routines, it made everything worth it. Overcoming two surgeries, countless appointments, and most importantly the mental toll this injury has had on me and will continue to do so.

I would like to give a massive thank you to my teammates, friends, and family for the endless support! My psychologist, Chelsea, thank you for always checking in and being there with me today to help manage my mental state, to my physios @laurathesportsphysio , Jacob, and @rejuven8physio , thank you for the constant guidance in my recovery and keeping me on track. @ben_young_coach your programmes have been a massive help for me in order to reach targets in the gym and be as strong as possible with my return to Trampoline. @brian_camp_consulting thank you for your patience with me whilst I manage my training every week, I appreciate it so much! And finally thank you to myself for always staying positive and trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel, we did it🤍

I am proud to announce I have been selected as the Trampoline representative for the BOA Team GB Ambitions Programme for Paris 2024, in hopes for the next cycle, and future Olympic Games. I am so grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to head out to Paris to watch the games and experience all that comes with it! by @ryanbrown.12

Injury Update

Last week whilst warming up for team finals in Portugal at the Loulé Cup, I sustained a knee injury. Following an MRI scan, it was discovered that I’ve fully torn my ACL and meniscus.

I am devastated. Although I’m anxious about what’s to come, I have all the faith that I will be back doing what I love when the time is right x by @ryanbrown.12

BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS 2026

A bit of a bitter sweet time at the British this year💫

On day one of the competition I placed second in the senior men’s category. I am fairly happy with my score and the development I’ve shown since the start of this season. As this is my first year back to competition, I’m really proud of the progress I’ve made so far and I’m excited for how far I can push myself and chase my pre injury standards. I was also awarded the Paul Luxon award for the highest execution score in the senior groups which definitely gave me a boost knowing I’ve still got it all in there somewhere🤣

Day two of the competition didn’t go as well where I didn’t complete my routine and didn’t qualify for the finals later on. Although this hurts, I am still trying to focus on all of the positive steps forwards I have made this year and the psychological shift I’ve had in my mindset!

coimbra international gym fest🇵🇹

This competition was my first international back and my first time competing in the same country I experienced my knee injury in 2024. The competition didn’t go as planned, not completing and making the same technical error in both routines which meant no finals for me this time. There is still so much to be grateful for and I am feeling proud of myself for being back in Portugal and giving it my best shot. It does hurt knowing that I am so much better than what I put out in the competition, however I am thankful to leave injury free and ready to plan the next steps for me this year, whatever that may look like! by @ryanbrown.12
