Dear Oliver I’m writing this to you, the world and the Universe: You are such a pillar in my life on so many levels as an Artist - a true artist, a rare once in a generation breed. Through your art you brought together so many different worlds; people that normally would never cross paths, but you gave them a reason to. you have a relentless energy, and an unstoppable belief in yourself; through all your characters you taught me - sometimes the easiest way to change how you feel about yourself is to just change your costume working with you was one of the most challenging things i’ve ever done but also the most rewarding i discovered layers of Art i never knew existed i grew so much, because of you trusting me with a piece of your vision; if people only knew the iceberg that was your body of work! i would stop anything else in my life for you because i knew- we were actually pushing ourselves, balancing the extremes, doing something out of our comfort zone every time- and it was important, and it was a struggle, but at the end of a project, it was euphoric the ingredients for great Art i would not have the confidence to do much of what i do now without having the collaboration that we had. as a Human - you always found time to care about the people around you, and you lifted them up. you were constantly pushing us to be better: to take time for ourselves to find what makes us happy and inspired demonstrating the importance of making time for family im grateful for the the incredible generosity you’ve shown me over the years. you knew when it was time to work and when it was time to have fun. the beautiful thing: those things were often one in the same. im grateful to have known you, to have traveled the world with you, to have made incredible art with you, to have shared time on this earth with you you have forever imprinted on my heart and soul Love you brother #olivertree Didgori Battle Monument outside Tbilisi Georgia.
