PROFESSIONAL LINE WAITER 😈

We just got down from Camp 3 on Manaslu! My stomach felt like it was going to explode because of indigestion 🤯 but it was so worth it for the snowboard turns 🏂

Currently the conditions on the mountain are dangerous and getting worse, so we’re not exactly sure when and if we’ll be able to summit. Hoping everyone makes safe decisions 🤞🙏

MANASLU NO OXYGEN UPDATE!

For the last 8 days, @justin.sackett and I have been getting the body ready by acclimatizing at high altitudes 🤠

2 days ago we climbed “Larke North” which was a 6000mer pile of CHOSS 💀 Genuinely a diabolical climb but it had to be done. Wouldn’t recommend

Now we’re back in the lower villages resting up and will begin our first rotation on Manaslu 😈

Proudest climb of my life🥲

The newest YouTube video is showing @noah__kane and I’s time in The Bugaboos. Our main goal was to climb Bugaboo Spire, which would be the hardest alpine climb I’ve ever done.

For me, climbing with Noah and being forced to be self sufficient was an incredible experience. I feel like I was truly able to put my skills I’ve been working on over the last year to work.

The time spent paid off :) We executed and got up and down safely, and it was one of the most rewarding moments of my climbing career.

Best day of climbing I’ve ever had, video out now! 😺

Just uploaded @justin.sackett and I’s climb of Forbidden Peak’s West Ridge. We saw a bear, pushed my technical capabilities, and got caught in a brief thunderstorm during the descent 😛

First climb being back from Mount Everest 😃

Got out on The Tooth’s South Face which is a certified Washington classic. It was such a beautiful, clear day out that the fluid in my lungs dried right out 😈

Aiming to get out for big alpine days like this once a week to improve the skills and fitness, and they’re my favorite things to record. VIDEOS SOON by @ryanmitchellyt

Tourist climber couldn’t even survive BASE CAMP! 💀

TLDR, bad food poisoning made my body unable to deal with return to altitude. Some of you asked why Justin and I went to Kathmandu, we did because my throat needed a little more healing from the throat infection I had the previous month, which also added to the systemic stress my body was under. Luck definitely has’t been on my side this year, but we still try our best!

Looking forward to working on my alpine skills this summer instead, and in the fall I fully intend to get back on another 8000 meter peak!

Spent 3 weeks acclimatizing to well over 18,000 feet. Felt great. Went to Kathmandu to wait for the icefall to open. Flew straight to Gorak Shep. Arrived at base camp and felt awful. Spo2 dropped to 35 and had to get put on oxygen to prevent further HAPE

Bro couldn’t even handle Everest Base Camp 💀

Seriously though, this is extremely unlucky and not at all the events I was looking for 🥲 Will keep posted by @ryanmitchellyt

Preparing for Mount Everest without oxygen 🤠

Mr @justin.sackett and I have enjoyed the last couple weeks sleeping as high up in altitude as we possibly can while we wait for Everest’s climbing route to officially open!

Once the Khumbu Icefall is established we’ll start our first rotation, and trash pick up 🤩 LETS GO

I also started the mount everest minecraft world. Goal is to defeat the ender dragon on the summit 😈#dontplaywithme #tnf by @ryanmitchellyt

Everest without oxygen - made it to base camp!

One of the ways @justin.sackett and I are trying to minimize the chances of our brains swelling this expedition 💀 is by getting to base camp very early, so our bodies can get a huge jump start on acclimatization!

From here we’ll be climbing nearby peaks in the area, such as Lobuche with the @skylinemountainguides team, until the Khumbu Icefall is open and we can start climbing Everest itself :D

So far feeling good. Looking at a summit push in about 2 months from now, which is a very long time LMAO. This is home!
