I think I’m falling in love with all these carbonated mousse booster/toner/serum/prep that are coming out from the Japanese beauty market. I have been testing this NEW Curél Intensive Moisture Care Mousse Serum for a while now (since my trip from Hong Kong) and I find that the Curél one really help in boosting moisture, soften the skin, and give me that slight glow.

Between Vit B3 (Niacinamide) and Vit B5 (Pantothenic Acid), if you were to choose one hero ingredient to help with your acne-prone skin, I would consider this: am I breaking out due to excessive sebum clogging up my pores? Or could it be that my barrier is so wrecked that it tipped the scale to me breaking out more often as the skin barrier is just not functioning as healthily as it should? I have considered this long and hard and I have come to the conclusion that I have wrecked my barrier by bombarding it with harsh acids, drying pimple meds, and a high pH acne wash that I might as well have used a dish soap instead. So in this case, using a Pantothenic Acid-based serum with a good balance of anti-acne ingredients and a good mixture of skin-healing and sebum-regulating ingredients is my priority. Sebum regulating because I am still oozing oil and my pores are still getting clogged and then showing up as blackheads and whiteheads. For my case, the Numbuzin No. 1 serum is a good choice for me.
