Jonny Bones. I’m not one to name deer but if I can capitalize on this one it will be an epic story. An overlooked, next to the road, doe bedding area, rut funnel. It’s just a tiny little slice of the pie but that’s all I need. I found this spot this spring with big sign and it lead me to discover him this summer. Patience and timing will be the name of the game. He is living exactly a mile away as the crow flies from there.

Traveled to a new area that I scouted this spring, for the first time this summer and this guy was the first buck of the evening. He was the biggest one for the night but he wound me up! I’m covering a lot of ground right now casting a wide net to see what I can find. About 30 days left of good visible buck movement so get out there and find them. by @ryanrmattson
