New song “Father” out tomorrow! Just in time to use it as the soundtrack to all’s y’all’s Father’s Day stories this weekend!

We stayed up way too late last night making this live video at the studio. Ryan played Hammond for the first time ever, and we sampled some strings courtesy of Aaron Child, who was in Houston and couldn’t make it out IRL.

What started as a simple tribute to my friend, Graham Russell, is turning into a full circle moment on Friday.

Ryan got me reading a message I wrote to Graham last week sharing the tune, before we had any plans to release it.

With the blessing of the dude himself, our cover of Air Supply’s “The One That You Love” comes out on Friday.
