DUDT,

I truly can not believe I am typing this out right now. Thank you for the best three years, and for accepting me with open arms. God placed this team into my life when I needed it the most. When I had no love for dance, or myself. With my time at DU, I have grown my love for dance and found my purpose again. This team is truly unlike no other, and I would not be the women I am today without every single season I was apart of.

I am so beyond proud of how this team handled this nationals. The grit, resilience, determination, and love, is unlike anything I have ever experienced. DUDT, continue to fight, grow, and lean on each-other, forever.

To my coaches, thank you. Thank you for bringing me in, when I was lost. Thank you for believing in me, and allowing me to be my authentic self. All of your hard work, love, and care will never be forgotten or go unnoticed. Thank you for leading this team with love, and continuing to elevate this program every practice at a time. I truly will miss you all🖤

To my teammates, I love you all. Whether you were apart of this season, junior season, or my sophomore season, you have shaped me into the human I am today. To all of my girls, continue to love, laugh, and care for each-other. Be each others light, and cherish every moment even when it’s hard. Cherish the hard practices, and the fun easy moments. It will be gone before you know it. Continue to elevate this program and make it a safe space for all to come. Truly you are all my sisters for life🥹

I wouldn’t have traded this nationals experience for the world. I am so proud. So proud. What a special way to end my competitive dancing career. This is a pivotal point for dudt, and I’m so glad I was able to lead and be a part of it.
