FULL CIRCLE MOMENT! ❤️

There’s something incredibly special about welcoming one of our own back home. We’re beyond excited to announce that Rylee Nanzer will be joining the DU Dance coaching staff as an Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 season!

Rylee is a recent graduate of our program, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her return in a new role. Rylee brought so much heart, passion, leadership, and dedication to this program as a student-athlete, and we know she will bring that same energy to our coaching staff.

Welcome back, Rylee! We are so lucky to have you on the other side this season and can’t wait to see the impact you’ll make! ❤️✨

✨MEET THE COACH✨

Before our 2026/2027 tryouts we would like to introduce our new head coach: Rylee Nanzer🤍

“Hello everyone!

My name is Rylee Nanzer, and I am so excited to be announced as the new varsity dance team coach at Grandville!

I recently graduated from Davenport University with a degree in Business Administration and am a proud alumna of the Davenport Dance Team. During my time at Davenport, I earned back-to-back National Dance Alliance (NDA) College National Championships in both D2 Team Routine and D2 Jazz in Daytona Beach, Florida. This past year, our team also earned runner-up finishes in D2 Jazz and D2 Hip Hop. In addition, I had the privilege of serving as senior captain and being a member of the strength and conditioning, warm-up, and technique committees.

My collegiate dance career did not begin at Davenport. I attended Central Michigan University during my freshman year, where I was also a member of the university’s dance team. While at CMU, I helped earn a national championship in D1 Jazz at the Dance Team Union College Classic National Competition in Orlando, Florida, and our team also secured a third-place finish in D1 Pom.

I am honored to say that I have earned five collegiate national championships and finished in the top three throughout my entire collegiate dance career.

With that being said, placements do not define you. I truly believe dance is such a special sport and art form, and I want to share my passion for it with as many dancers as possible.

Over the past few years, I have developed a new love for dance through teaching and mentoring. I currently teach at Imprint Dance Company, where I also trained throughout high school. It has been incredibly rewarding to come full circle and give back to the studio that helped shape me as a dancer.

I was born and raised in Caledonia, Michigan, and I am proud to call West Michigan home. This area is filled with incredibly talented dancers, and I am so honored for the opportunity to work with, mentor, and support the next generation of athletes and artists.

I cannot wait to get started and be a part of the Grandville dance family! Go Dawgs🐾”
