Nurse.org is proud to recognize nurse Ryan Sendow (@ryseblends), the founder of Travel Nurse Takeover (@travelnursetakeover), with the Best Nurse Community Initiative award. Sendow founded Travel Nurse Takeover as a way to create a community for travel nurses that he found lacking in his own experience as a travel nurse.

"There was no resource online to connect us, and I felt that likely other people might be feeling the same way, so I decided to make my community during a time when all those reasons converged, and I figured I would try making something that could connect people," Sendow tells Nurse.org.

What’s it like going to Bali the last two years? Here it is ⬆️

Grateful for the community we’ve built and the experiences we’ve shared the last couple years. Let’s keep it going, shall we?!

Our THIRD trip is just a few months away!! We already have a SQUAD going but if you want to make a spontaneous last-minute decision and meet travelers from around the country there’s only a few spots left before prices go up! ✈️

join us in an ‘Endless Summer’ in Bali! ☀️ DM ‘TNT Squad Bali’ to signup! 🙌

hey!! our family feud episode airs TONIGHT 🙌

can’t believe we’re on @familyfeud 50th anniversary season! we had such a blast..you think you would get all the answers but can confirm it’s different being on stage with Steve Harvey and all the bright lights and the audience watching you 😂

but on a side note, SO proud to join the stage with my brothers and sisters for this. no one else I would’ve rather be on stage with and get trolled by Steve Harvey haha love yall ✊

and for our mom to be in the audience and to experience this with us was also amazing.. she came from Indonesia and worked her butt off to raise 5 kids on a CNA salary.. thanks for making all the sacrifices you made! we love you :) but also, what’s cooler than seeing all your kids on a national tv game show that you immigrated too? how many parents can say that? that’s pretty badass mom!

big thanks to Family Feud for letting us being part of this special season 💛

how well did we do? you’ll just have to watch, catch us on the Family Feud and cheer us on! 🫶 by @rysetravels

do you agree with @melrobbins ⁉️

to me, it can be both. for the last several years, i found something that blends creative expression but also builds friendships irl, ties in with my career inside and outside the hospital, and brings me fulfillment through @travelnursetakeover ❤️‍🔥 at the end of the day im just trying to make an impact with the short time we have on 🌎 and if you can make a difference for someone, then i say thats a life well spent.

and I agree with Mel, if there’s something that you feel called to create, make it happen and PUT IT OUT IN THE WORLD. someone might need your talents/experience but your burying it in the ground. it’s not about you. do it for them.

curious to know, what’s your thoughts on social media? is it just to keep up with friends, to be creative, generate income, etc.? but also what’s wrong with social media and how is it impacting individuals negatively? comment below.. would love to hear your thoughts 📝

Nurse influencers and creators unite thanks to @travelnursetakeover for this meetup!!! Serious direction and production happening in every corner of the building!!! Later that night a party was held at the very same spot sponsored by @travelnursetakeover which I was not able to get to due to unforeseen circumstances which is a documentary for another day 🥲😩💀 by @rysetravels
