@unpavedpennsylvania is just over a week away! I was lucky enough to design the poster for my favorite gravel event of the year. I thought a lot about the memories and great friends I made during this ride. I love pushing myself on the timed segments and having the non-timed segments to connect with new and old friends. It’s truly a wonderful event and you should go do it! The posters will be on sale at the event for $50. We made just over a hundred of these so grab one before they are gone! If you aren’t able to make it to the event but would still like a poster I have a very limited quantity here in Philly. Feel free to DM me if you are interested in one! Thank you @fourfingerpress for the high quality screen prints and fast turnaround! #unpavedpennsylvania #gravelbike #screenprinting by @s.fitzmaurice

Up and over / Down and out

2024 illustrator drawing.

Reminiscing my time spent on board riding down hills and mountains as well as my time now going up them on my bike. Whiteface was my first major climb on my bike last year. 4K feet of climbing in a single shot over 8 miles. Looking forward to more. #adobeillustrator taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @s.fitzmaurice

Heavy breathing at a dozen rose Glens this past weekend. Thank you @teamlasercats for putting on a such a great event to kick off the season. Great turn out and great to see so many familiar faces coming out of hibernation. 📸: @eviltothemaxson taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @s.fitzmaurice

Me focused during a segment at @unpavedpennsylvania vs. when I see the finish line for that segment. Was really happy with my times, PR’d almost every segment and had a lot more gas in the tank at the end of 90 miles. I guess I’ll have to do the 120 next year. Always the best event of the year. #pennsylvaniaunpaved by @s.fitzmaurice

Built up a fresh one for @unpavedpennsylvania this weekend. Transferred all the parts over from my diverge, cleaned everything up, and even waxed my chain for this one. Fit is feeling pretty dialed. Overall weight is coming in just over 16 lbs with pedals and no bags. There’s a joke about a dentist somewhere in this. Hopefully the bike and my fitness are up for a quick century on the best gravel roads in PA tomorrow. #sworks #specializedcrux #gravelbike taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @s.fitzmaurice

New bottle and video design for @keswickcycle Wiss Dust: a shiny particle of mineral dust that is a product of the Wissahickon Schist. Side effects may include happiness and a bouncing effect. The dust will frequently coat your drive train, legs, and anything else exposed after a good ride and may cause faster wear to your components. Shoot me a DM if you are interested in one. #keswickcycle #wissdust taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @s.fitzmaurice

This bike is not especially great at anything except being fun. First full frame set build is done. Had a blast picking out all the parts and building it up. Just needed a little bit of help with bleeding the brakes. The Ti bar is from a moots welder and is unlike anything I’ve ridden in the best way. #divergeevo taken in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by @s.fitzmaurice
