I typically do not blend my personal Instagram with my work Instagram, however, this video felt better suited for my personal one.

I have always had such a difficult time doing speaking videos for my work social media. I feel that is when you can really see my shyness and social awkwardness. 🤣

Over the years I have learned to embrace it all. If I look silly...So be it...I look like I don't know what I'm talking about...So be it... If I look like I'm trying too hard...So be it (PLUS- I really am trying hard 😁)

On this particular day, I could not seem to get my words out. God bless my social media manager for being so patient with me! We made it through and I know they will work their magic to make it smooth and seamless.

The point is to just get out there. It's not so serious at the end of the day. I think the important thing is to have fun and to lead with a lighter heart.

Another thing... The only way you get comfortable learning a new skill is by doing it over and over again. Period... So get out there and do something that makes you uncomfortable... Not just once... But plenty of times ❤️

Bonus... You will definitely have some laughs along the way 🤗

DC @makabulas .... This girl is definitely one of my favorite choreographer/dancer that I've ever seen! This is why I keep trying to learn her routines 🌞

I am obsessed with this choreo....I can't count how many times I have fallen. But here we are. Learning then releasing 💃💃💃

I'm at that age....

That I start a sentence saying, " I'm at that age..."

Lol 🤣🤣🤣

Man, it feels so funny when you start to say things that "older" people say.

But seriously, I'm at that age that I no longer have a goal weight.

I have a goal "feeling." I want to be able to run and dance every single day without having nerve pain and weakness. I want to be able to walk and live my normal daily life. I want to have all the stamina to kick ass at work every single day. I want to keep up with my son and do all the activities that he wants to do. I want to have a certain amount of jiggle in my body so that when I am twerking I have something to show for it 🤣. I want to put on a bikini at all times of the year and feel confident. I want to appreciate every cell, organ, and every function in my body that keeps me alive and well.

Stepping on the scale is not something that I do. I'm pretty intuitive on how I feel in my body.

I invite you all to do the same. Instead of having a goal weight...

How do you want to feel?

How do you want to be able to move for the rest of your life?

What do you use your physical strength for? What activities or hobbies do you enjoy doing that require you to maintain a strong physique?

This changes how you do everything and your perspective on why you work out and eat healthy.

With that being said, I am a little bit more "juicier" than I feel comfortable with. All that means is a little less ice cream during the week 🤣

One of the greatest lessons I have learned in life is to allow myself to be a beginner of anything that I want to learn.

You will never learn if you never start...💃❤️

You will find yourself more receptive to learning if you're not learning to get "good"... You're learning something new because you're curious and it has sparked something inside of you.

Dear God.

Thank you.

I didn't see it before but I see it now. Your plan has always been and always will be better than my plan. Even though my faith in YOU cannot be defined in a conventional way, my faith is strong and present more than it has ever been. I will float through this life in complete trust...In complete surrender.

I know that I am not understood by many. But you created me and you understand me....That is all I need and all I want. 🙏❤️

I pray for this unconditional love and freedom for us all. The world will become a better place because of it. ✨

And maybe...Just maybe...It all starts with having a dance outside in the sunshine...
