You’re invited to 本能, Instinct.

For nearly ten years, @s33mba has photographed Korea’s music scenes and festivals, capturing the freedom, connection and instinctive moments that emerge when people come together.

本能, Instinct. explores something deeply human: our desire to express ourselves, connect with others and leave traces of our existence behind.

The work comes together in a book published by @visual.collect, an independent bookstore and publisher based in Seongsu-dong, Seoul. Working across art, music, fashion and culture, Visual Collect curates and produces publications that offer new perspectives on contemporary visual culture.

Coming all the way from Korea, S33MBA will present 本能, Instinct. at Analogue.

October 10 · 20:00 - 23:00
Zeedijk 80, Amsterdam

We’re also organizing a photowalk with @s33mba, sponsored by @polaroid. More details coming soon. taken in Amsterdam Zeedijk by @s33mba

I believe there are no photographs that should be thrown away.

When an image turns out differently from what I expected,
I find it even more interesting.

We have been drawing since we were children,
we’ve just stopped for a moment.
