SUO - “Lightning Strikes”

"Lightning Strikes” is about the ups and downs of ending a relationship, the expectations, the hurt, the acceptance, the excitement of a next chapter. I approached @aron_filkey with the idea of immersing my character in a “Who Framed Roger Rabbit” ToonTown inspired world and his excitement and creativity assured me that I chose the right collaborator. The song consists of three different parts that cycle two times each, so we decided to create three different realms that would reflect the mood and sentiments of each part of the song. The process took months to complete, and I can talk about it for a long time, but I’ll let you check it out for yourself and hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.

Thanks for watching and thanks for listening!

“To Please You” is out now! Link in bio, stream it where you like it!

This is the second to last song in a series of singles recorded in Mexico City in 2023. The final single comes with a surprise, look out in early September!

Doubts in love, doubts in yourself, doubts in belief; it all finds clarity in the end.
Josephine and I recorded bass, guitar and lead vocals live sitting next to each other and knew after the first take, that was it. There was no doubt.
