My paintings are predominantly still life because within the tradition of still life paintings is the recognition that a moment of time can hold an infinite amount of meaning.

There are objects that we all hold onto for different reasons, sometimes it’s hard to articulate how a figurine that you’ve kept since childhood holds something you can’t bear to let go of. I think of what these objects bear for us and how spending time looking at them opens us up to pieces of ourselves that we hope to preserve. This computer was my Dads first computer and this image is a portrait of him, a portrait of me in many ways, and it holds big fears and big hopes. Each of these paintings bears a significance to a moment that is valuable to revisit.

They are simple images and easy to glance at but the hope is they catch you and fall into your own thoughts. by @saaronteamgreen

Never saw it coming 🥲

I used to push a little baby around the Oakland Museum and sit and sketch the taxidermy. Old ladies would stop and say “My kids learned to walk in this museum; now they’re 35” I guess I’m in some sort of club. by @saaronteamgreen

For years! I have been trying to plant seed to growmilkweed in my yard to attract caterpillars.

If you need you can just go the nursery in late summer and buy one with caterpillars on them already. #parenthack by @saaronteamgreen

HELP; I lost my schedule book. This is something I do. I’m kind of ashamed to ask for help because I feel so dumb when I lose keys or leave my bag places. But seriously I’m good at so many things, so I’m kind of over hating myself for these minor mistakes. Also if you’ve seen this book; let me know. by @saaronteamgreen
