Yes, I’ll take a Negroni on a coastal hike, thank you very much. Keeping warm in that foggy bay summer.

Turns out there are many people who would rather watch a chamber orchestra concert than the Super Bowl! 😛 Super fun week with the @sanjosechamberorchestra and soloists @james_dion_blanchard and @matthieucognet! We put together a really unique program of Tailleferre, Britten, Tabakova, and Kidane. For my first time conducting in CA, it was a really special weekend. So many old friends!

For our socially distanced Halloween party, we recreated our favorites gifs. Which one is your favorite? Thanks @saaronteamgreen for coming up with this phenomenally awesome idea. #halloween #halloweencostume #costume #gif #leonardodicaprio #cottoncandy #parksandrec #play #halloween2020 #halloweenlook #roc #therock #meme #memes #favoritememes #favorite #giphy @captainbeardo @justbeachy411 @brian_so1

The first ever GIF Halloween costume contest. Any guesses who won?

Some old coworkers got together to prove social distancing restrictions just means you gotta live creatively. It was so fun. Thanks @jeffharryplays for putting this video together and if you don’t follow @jeffharryplays you really shouldn’t be on Instagram. Jeff baked a blue cake just to smash it in his own face.

Earlier this year, I sat around a table of Thai food and girlfriends and we each committed to doing one thing brave, something that felt impossible, by the end of this year. Mine, though it sounded silly to say out loud, was to get away all by myself, for an overnight retreat, someplace beautiful. I have a really hard time laying aside life and responsibilities to do what my soul most longs for. It feels so selfish. And with the mad rush of life and kids and work, the idea of 24 entire hours all to myself felt impossible. I literally cried most of the drive out to Pt. Reyes, tears of joy and gratitude for the space to, for the first time in over five years, be alone, really alone, to just be quiet with God, with myself. To be slow. To delight in the beauty and goodness of all that surrounds me. To have no agenda, no duty, no demand other than to receive. 🍍 #sacredrhythms #sabbath #ptreyes #retreat #olema #chasinglight

The experiment was simple. Could we make a minute to win it game happen with less than 24 hours notice, not knowing who would show up and be down to play. Well, we did it and we found another answer to an interesting question. Can you get strangers to connect in just a few minutes? Yes, by playing ridiculous games. Thanks to @saaronteamgreen for making it happen and @kimoballer for always being super helpful! Thanks everyone for coming! We will do it again even bigger and better! #minutetowinitgames #play

In honor of primary voting day, here’s a gentle reminder to vote...even if you are too tired to stand. Every vote matters. Even the ones done between naps...And yes, that guy tripped on my leg. It did provide me an opportunity to remind him to vote though. @people.of.planet.fitness @planetfitness @planetfitnesspa #vote #getoutthevote #roadtochange #voting #votingday #primaryelection #play #playalways #playmatters #playeveryday #planetfitness #exercises #exerciseyourvote #workout #workoutandvote #workouts #tothepolls #tothepollstuesday #tuesday #tuesdaymotivation #playgram #naps #napvoting #sleep #sleepexercise #voteearly #voteearly🇺🇸
