What does one do when they aren’t ready to commit to a stainless steel kitchen? Search high and low for the prefect peel and stick contact paper that resembles stainless steel.

Day 1 complete! Stay tuned for the finish product!

First & foremost, thank you God! Today marks exactly one year since I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: becoming a homeowner. 🔑

What a fascinating JOURNEY it has been so far🥹. I’ve loved and learned in every moment. I’ve built beds + tables, painted and wallpapered (I will hire next time! 😅) , designed a couch (ask me if I would do this again? lol), bought things and then hated it, traveled to many estate sales etc.. However, the part I cherish the most about my home is being able to have a home to keep my dad’s coffee table.♥️ (No one prepares you how to handle cleaning out/going through your parents home after loss!! 🥺) It feels sentimental to have a part of his home now in my home. A timeliness piece I will cherish forever.

Thank you Papa Bear! 🫶🏾
Honorable mention to my mommy, auntie, sister, uncle, & Mr. j :). THEY ARE MY VILLAGE!

P.s. Pictures aren’t meant to be perfect so don’t judge! Im just a regular girl! Lol Also, if you have any questions about anything: process of buying, pieces shown, process of designing furniture etc. I’m here to share some knowledge :) by @sabaamaison

I had been going back and forth with this entryway table but I’m so happy I moved forward with it. What will I add on top of the table? Books? Mirror above? Stay tuned.

Day & Night | Created this beautiful arrangement with faux flowers from @cb2 & @worldmarket. Absolutely in love with how it all came out. AND the stools! I scored high with finding these gems at an Estate Sale of Walter Williams. (No worries about the light fixture- doing some maintenance there :)) #sabaamaison by @sabaamaison

Sabaa Maison | Guest Bathroom

It was 7pm and I decided to wallpaper the bathroom! Boy, wasn’t I in for a treat. This is a tedious task for anyone considering! I found this beautiful textured linen wallpaper to cover the blue paint (the previous owners must love blue) to match the tans and browns currently there. Eventually, I would love to completely renovate the bathrooms. This will do for now :) by @sabaamaison

I was not a huge fan originally of the Redwood Shaker Cabinets and one of the doors was not attached. The color was too orange/red for my liking. However, now I love them! I converted that leaning cabinet to the new garbage pull out system

Sabaa Maison | Living Room

The start of collecting! I have started with collecting vintage speakers. Check out these Vintage Jensen Sound Speakers that I have found! Next is finding the proper way to display the units. Stands or pedestals?
