First & foremost, thank you God! Today marks exactly one year since I made one of the biggest decisions of my life: becoming a homeowner. 🔑

What a fascinating JOURNEY it has been so far🥹. I’ve loved and learned in every moment. I’ve built beds + tables, painted and wallpapered (I will hire next time! 😅) , designed a couch (ask me if I would do this again? lol), bought things and then hated it, traveled to many estate sales etc.. However, the part I cherish the most about my home is being able to have a home to keep my dad’s coffee table.♥️ (No one prepares you how to handle cleaning out/going through your parents home after loss!! 🥺) It feels sentimental to have a part of his home now in my home. A timeliness piece I will cherish forever.

Thank you Papa Bear! 🫶🏾
Honorable mention to my mommy, auntie, sister, uncle, & Mr. j :). THEY ARE MY VILLAGE!

P.s. Pictures aren’t meant to be perfect so don’t judge! Im just a regular girl! Lol Also, if you have any questions about anything: process of buying, pieces shown, process of designing furniture etc. I’m here to share some knowledge :)
