Why is Barri Worth Girvan stooping this low?

A fake, AI-generated political ad? Seriously? Is this what her campaign has resorted to?

Doesn’t Barri have to approve what’s being put out in her name? Further, like IG, does the campaign have to divulge Ai manipulation?

If you know anyone in CD3, make sure they see this. Voters deserve to know the tactics being used to win their votes.

If you can’t run an honest campaign, why should voters trust you to represent them?

Najmeh Amini is 23 years old. She should be building a life. Instead, she is in an Iranian prison, reportedly sentenced to death over a social media post, asking the world: “Be my voice.”

Somewhere, her parents are waiting for their daughter to come home. No family should have to fear that words their child wrote could cost her life.

Chicago Jewish Alliance stands with our Persian brothers and sisters—with the Iranians who reject terror and are fighting for a country where they can speak freely, raise their children in peace, and decide their own future. The regime that threatens Najmeh’s life does not speak for them.

As a Jewish community, we cannot ask the world to care about our safety and turn away from theirs. Our solidarity must reach beyond our own community, especially when speaking up is dangerous for the people who need us.

We stand together against jihadist terror and religious tyranny. We stand for Najmeh’s right to live, and for every Iranian risking their freedom to demand something better.

Her death sentence must be overturned. Say her name. Share her story. Help her appeal reach people with the power to act.

Najmeh Amini deserves to go home. by @sababasisters

Nithya Raman claims she has been so effective in her district. We spoke with people who have actually lived under her leadership. This is what they have to say. This is what DSA governance looks like in Los Angeles. @thrive.la by @sababasisters

Bravo accused Israel of the gen0cide libel.

Bravo ignores her Jewish constituents.

Bravo told Chow her post condemning the Oct 7 massacre was unhelpful.

Bravo is an antisemite.

Biggest mic drop ever.

I will never stop telling my grandparents’ stories, but their experiences don’t hold the same meaning, personal connection and emotion for my own kids. What our kids need is Jewish identity, pride, and education!

In my own extended family, those who chose not to give their children Jewish experiences and identity now have non Jewish grandchildren. They have fully melted into the pot.

We don’t have a crystal ball about our future grandkids, but know that to ensure they will carry on our beautiful story, it will be through passing on tradition, community/kehillah, Jewish joy, trips to Israel (if you can) and pride. by @sababasisters

Interesting how quickly a Jew can become acceptable when they say the “right words” about Israel.

We shouldn’t have to prove we’re one of the “good Jews” to be accepted. And we shouldn’t have to distance ourselves from our own identity to earn it.

Shabbat Shalom, As The Torah Begins Anew 🪬

Why does Parsha Bereshit, the first portion in the Torah which is also read this week, start with the letter ב instead of א, you may ask? The reason is simple when understanding the flow of letters in Hebrew. Beit (ב) flows forward since Hebrew is read right to left with an opening on the left towards the future: The new year of 5787. ❤️‍🔥

It signifies looking forward to the potential of a brighter tomorrow, letting the mistakes and sorrows of the past lie where they are. 🙏🏼

Wishing everyone a peaceful Shabbat, well-earned and with much joy surrounding you always. 🖖🏼 by @sababasisters
