Remember that evidence matters in real estate too.

If it’s a two flat, then it’ll be zoned as such.

Tax bills, inspection reports, MLS listings cannot turn a house into a legal apartment building.

Go to the proverbial “horse’s mouth” (i.e. the zoning department) and get confirmation. Nothing else matters.

Another referral client received her keys 🔑

After working with my clients niece for the sell of her home in Illinois and the purchase of her new home in Indiana she felt confident referring me to her aunt who wanted to relocate to Illinois from Georgia.

Thank goodness for technology and my expertise because she relied on it and Zoom to choose her forever home .

I would love to tell you that everything went completely smooth but we experienced some little hiccups trying to navigate this transaction with a lender that wasn’t familiar with the Illinois process. As a relocation tip, trust your team to refer you to a service parter that is a trusted professional with where you are moving to, not from .

However, it was nothing Katrice Matthews @dva4eva of Sable Law Group @sablelawgroup and I couldn’t handle .
