Yesterday I had the amazing opportunity to visit Brampton City Hall and meet our wonderful Mayor, Patrick Brown. I observed Council Chambers, toured the office and filmed a video with The Mayor about my books! I was so surprised and honoured to also receive a recognition from the Mayor and Council members for my work as a local Guyanese-Canadian Brampton Author. The meeting ended with an even bigger surprise announcement for me, from The Mayor, which I will share at a later date. During my visit to Guyana I was honored to visit The State House and have the opportunity to meet The President of Guyana, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Irfaan Ali. I was able to gift him my books and chat about them. He read through A Guyana Christmas Story and signed my copy of Part 2: Chutney Santa Man Returns Home. 🇬🇾 I still can’t believe it happened! #guyana #books taken in State House, Guyana by @sabrinachetramwrites

Welcome my first Guyanese Remix 🇬🇾. I had these remixed lyrics written last year for another Guyanese Karaoke video which was left in the drafts… if you follow me you know I can’t sing lol but I do it for fun. With the passing of Dolly Parton I thought I’d finish it and save you all the pain of my voice! Instead, I created a song with an ai voice.
