はじめまして！サブリナです。

Hi, I’m Sabrina 👋
I’m a freelance photographer from Rome based in Vancouver and often in Tokyo 🗼

I’ve been passionate about Japan since I was a kid and I graduated from the University of Rome in Japanese language and culture. However, after graduating I moved to Canada and gave up on studying Japanese.

In Vancouver I discovered an amazing Japanese community and made a lot of Japanese friends 🩷

In 2023 I went by myself to Tokyo for a month to go to a language school and it was such an awesome experience that I plan to go back again for a longer time to study the language and become fluent.

My dream is to live in Tokyo for some time in the future and do photography there 📷 がんばってね♪

I decided to start this account to share Tokyo (and Japan) related videos and photos.

View of the Fujisan at dawn 🗻

——

Filmed in the early morning of December 26 2024 from the window of our room in Izu-Nagaoka.

I can’t forget this view. I opened the shoji as soon as we woke up and there it was.

After this I went straight to the outdoor onsen to admire the Fujisan while melting in the hot water. Precious memories.

another rainy day in Tokyo ☔️

I had something to do in Koenji so we ended up spending the day there. We checked lots of vintage stores and already got a few things 🙏

おもちゃっぽい東京

I’m going through the archive from my very first trip to Japan in 2017 (!) and I found these photos I completely forgot about!

I was shooting with the Canon G7X at the time (the first model!) and I was playing around with the built-in “Miniature Effect” mode that simulates a tilt-shift lens. So here it’s Shinjuku and Tokyo looking like a miniature model. by @sabrinaintokyo
