I am very excited to announce my very first photo exhibition this summer!

The series, including a selection of digital and film photographs, explores “la mancanza” (the absence), the feeling of missing someone - or something - that we know won’t be there.

The exhibition will run throughout the summer at @luppolo_brewing. Enjoy delicious pizza (Italian approved!) & beer while supporting local art ♥️

🔊 All pieces are available for purchase.

Print shop coming soon on my website! Meanwhile, if interested in purchasing, please DM me.

はじめまして！サブリナです。

Hi, I’m Sabrina 👋
I’m a freelance photographer from Rome based in Vancouver and often in Tokyo 🗼

I’ve been passionate about Japan since I was a kid and I graduated from the University of Rome in Japanese language and culture. However, after graduating I moved to Canada and gave up on studying Japanese.

In Vancouver I discovered an amazing Japanese community and made a lot of Japanese friends 🩷

In 2023 I went by myself to Tokyo for a month to go to a language school and it was such an awesome experience that I plan to go back again for a longer time to study the language and become fluent.

My dream is to live in Tokyo for some time in the future and do photography there 📷 がんばってね♪

I decided to start this account to share Tokyo (and Japan) related videos and photos.

postcards from Vancouver ~ January 2026

Some moments from the past month.

We've been blessed with many sunny days in Vancouver and I was able to enjoy some walks to parks and to the beach.

This year I want to focus on creating and filming, so I'm trying to be more intentional with what I capture on camera.
