I was never meant to blend in. I move with a different kind of energy. Gentle but driven, calm but unstoppable. There’s strength in softness, power in resilience. This kind of presence can’t be duplicated. I’m not just one of a kind… I’m me. 🌻

New hair, new season, same girl learning to give herself a little more grace.

Lately, my perfectionism has been LOUD. Always wanting to do more, be better, have everything figured out, and somehow still feeling like it’s never quite enough.

So here’s my reminder, to myself and to any woman who needs it, you don’t have to have everything perfectly together to be proud of where you are. You’re allowed to be a work in progress. You’re allowed to change, slow down, start again, and enjoy yourself along the way.

Maybe this season is less about becoming “perfect” and more about becoming a little softer with ourselves.

Anyway… entering my fall brunette era while I figure the rest out. 🤎🍂 taken in Montreal, Quebec by @sabturp

Life with you just keeps getting better. I love looking back at everything we’ve experienced together, but what makes me happiest is knowing how much we still have ahead of us. More memories, more adventures, more growth, more dreams becoming reality, and getting to do it all together. I can’t wait for our next steps and every chapter that comes after. So grateful for you, for us, and for this life we’re building. I love you more than words could ever say. 🤍 taken in The Ritz-Carlton, Montréal by @sabturp

Almost five years of figuring it out, learning, adjusting, choosing grace, and building something that doesn’t always make sense to everyone looking in from the outside.

We’ve been judged, misunderstood, and we’ve definitely had our ups and downs. But through it all, the three of us have kept choosing the same thing: to be a team for the kids.

To put them first. To create memories instead of tension, adventures instead of division, and a childhood filled with people who love them.

And somehow, along the way, we started realizing that we were creating beautiful memories for ourselves too.

This trip to Maine especially reminded me of that. Somewhere between the long drives, the laughs, the little moments, and all the adventures, it felt like we grew even closer — like everything we’ve been trying to build for all these years made just a little more sense.

It isn’t always easy. It isn’t “normal.” It isn’t perfect.

But it’s ours. And almost five years later, I’m so grateful we keep choosing it.

Because at the end of the day, it’s for the kids. And every memory, every adventure, every moment we get to share together makes it all worth it. 🩵

Just a girl romanticizing a road trip like it was a coming-of-age movie. Five days of pretty places, long drives, ocean air, spontaneous detours & little moments that felt too good not to keep. 🎞️🤎

Been busy living. My camera roll is full, my schedule is chaotic, my heart is happy, and my mind is finally learning to let go of things that don’t deserve my energy. Here’s to a summer that reminded me to care a little less and live a little more. 🥂 taken in Beach Club de Pointe Calumet by @sabturp
