Grateful to call this place my home but collectively (tourists & locals) must keep our beaches clean! There are 8 different trash cans less than 200 feet from this public access balcony and all this trash. There shouldn’t be any excuses.

Mi hermoso Abuelito.

Ya vamos casi dos meses desde que te despediste de esta tierra.

La vida, de alguna forma no se siente igual. Ya casi tres años de tu enfermedad, y ahora se siente como que alguien bajo el volumen de lo que es el sonido de la vida.

Te extrañaré por el resto de mi vida. Siempre tendré el impulso de tratar de llamar para contarte lo bueno, lo malo, y todos los chismes.

No creo que en verdad supiste cuánto te amo y cuánta falta me vas hacer por el resto de mi vida. Mi profesor, mi guía,mi luchador, mi apoyo, mi payaso, mi acolite, mi cocinero, mi todo. Me da paz que no estés sufriendo.. aquí le cuidamos a mi abuelita por ti.

Happy World Ocean Day 🌊☀️

I don’t know who I’d be without the Sea. My abuelito always said I was a fish out of water and he centered my values around preservation. We must take care of what brings peace and balance to our eco-system.

May we all do our part to protect these sacred waters 💙
