Some things in life remind you just how precious life, love, and the people around you really are. ❤️‍🩹 The last little while has been an absolute whirlwind, and I can’t begin to put into words the fear, emotions, and gratitude that have come with it all.

First, a HUGE thank you to @nani_baque for absolutely EVERYTHING. ❤️ For showing up, being there through the chaos, helping us navigate the unexpected, and reminding us what genuine friendship looks like. I appreciate you more than words can say. At this point, it’s official: WE ARE TRAUMA BONDED FOR LIFE. 😂❤️‍🩹 No refunds, no backing out now!

And Maria… my girl is an absolute UNIT and a WARRIOR. ❤️‍🔥 Watching her face everything that’s been thrown at her has reminded me just how strong she truly is. She’s on the mend, taking it day by day, and focusing on healing. Recovery is a process, but we’re taking it one step at a time, together. I couldn’t be prouder of her. ❤️

To everyone who has called, texted, messaged, checked in, offered help, or kept Maria in your thoughts and prayers: THANK YOU. 🫶🏼 I may not have been able to respond to everyone, but please know every message and every act of kindness has meant the world to us. You’ve reminded us that even in the scariest moments, we’re surrounded by people who genuinely care.

Life can change in an instant, and experiences like this make you appreciate the people you love and the ones who show up when it matters most.

Here’s to healing, brighter days, Maria continuing to be the badass she is, and the incredible people who have helped carry us through this chapter. ❤️🙏🏼

One day at a time. One step at a time. Together. ❤️‍🩹

Angie, you’re stuck with us forever now. 😂❤️

A huge thank you to @Pacifico for the Yappy Collection prize! 🍻🐾💛

The timing of this couldn’t have meant more to our family. We had to spend over a week away from our boy while Maria was in the hospital dealing with a brain cyst and undergoing surgery. It’s been a stressful, emotional time for our family, and being separated from him was just another part of it. Thank you @chels_willi_saenz and Nick for watching our Scraps!

When we finally got him back home, seeing the excitement and joy he had with his new Pacifico goodies brought a much-needed smile to our faces. Sometimes it’s the little things that mean the most, and this was one of those moments. ❤️🐶

Thank you, Pacifico, for helping bring some happiness into our home when we really needed it. We’ll be raising a Pacifico to better days ahead, more beach days, and plenty of memories with our four-legged best friend. 🌊🍻

From our family to yours, thank you, Pacifico! 🤙💛

The New Year is approaching. This year has been the year of the snake. It represented our shedding phase. And I can say the both of us have done our fair share of shedding. Between deaths, out growing friendships/relationships, jobs, cities, and more. While it was hard it leads to the road ahead.

2026 is the year of the horse, bringing themes of movement, transformation, and high expectations, following the introspective Year of the Snake.

What better way to shed the 2025 year in Costa Rica, and also go into the new year celebrating over eight years of travel and adventures. To ring in our birthdays especially your monumental dirty thirty 😏🍻
