for the @latimes i talked to @bokchoy_baobei about GIRLS THAT NEVER DIE and how i’m still learning to drive and also i had one of the most fun and comfortable photo shoots of my life thanks to @mariahtauger (and being directed by my bb @asgharthegrouch 🥺). guest starring this beloved @creolemaroon piece in the background! GIRLS THAT NEVER DIE has been in the world for a week now and it feels very surreal. it got a starred review from @publisherswkly (!!!) and for @electricliterature i talked to my sweetest fati about it, in what was my first articulation of so many of my thoughts about this book. if you need me i’ll be in the middle of a deep exhale lol by @safiamafia
